Boulder Station

I really had a good time. Although for a long stay like mine, I wish they had a small frige and microwave in the room so my food bill wouldn't of been so expensive!!

Dining tip: In Hotel

Eat before 4pm and it isn't as expensive. It is cheaper to buy a case of water than to buy the hotel bottled water each day. Also, buy non-perishable snacks to keep in your room.

AMAZED

I WAS THERE TO VISIT LAS VEGAS.. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, VERY CLEAN, AND IT HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN ONE SPOT... THE ONLY BAD THING IS THAT IT IS FAR FROM THE STRIP IF YOU DON'T BRING A CAR. THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOTELS THAT I HAVE STAYED AT SO FAR..

enjoyable getaway

the trip we took there was very enjoyable. the food was great and there was plenty of it there were plenty of shows so you would have to find something that you would enjoy.the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. i enjoyed the table games, bingo and the slots. they have a small pool but it`s very nice. there was only one thing that we were upset about and that was the hidden fee that they charged upon check out (15.00)a day ammeneties fee for things we would never use. they told us it was mandatory. other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Good Value Hotel

Comfoirtable room at a good rate...even with the $9.50/night "surcharge" for things I didn't use or want: Kids arcade, newspaper, etc. Safe/Secure location with a large, noisy casino and movie theaters on-site. Lots of food choices (skip "Coco's," which is not up to par for a chain restaurant).

the good, the bad, and the really ugly

the hotel was very nice but we got a big shock when we arrived. they told us that there was an extra charge that you didn`t tell us about of $350. over what you had told us. that is not the time to find out about a fee like that.i finally talked them down to 187.50 but that took a cut out of our vacation money. the hotel itself was very nice it had almost everything. the 1 thing it could use is more table games.a bigger variety

Low-cost stay off the strip

The Boulder Station Hotel and Casino lies a few miles off the strip, so it's not so suitable for people going to party in Vegas. If you go by car or get a rental and don't want to spend too much, this may be your choice. Prices are very good for a 3 star accommodation and the quality is fair for that category. Does not catch the glamor of Vegas, but good enough to rest and shower for a small budget. If you're staying a couple of days in Vegas and looking to get the most out of a small budget, you may want to stay in Boulder Station for the weekend and then move on to a hotel on the strip during the week. Internet with reduced speed (1.5M) is complimentary and entirely sufficient for surfing and mailing. Full speed costs extra.
