Great for meeting air travelers
Bad experience at check-in with clerk who would rather have been doing something else. [...] Everything else was just "OK". The eating area for breakfast is good but location for food in a separate room is cramped. But attendant was there and helpful. Day clerk on desk was also helpful. Main problem was clerk at check-in. You'd think the hotel being located at the end of a runway that airplane noise might be a factor but not one was heard during the stay.

Grand Canyon escape
We stayed in Vegas to take a tour to the Grand Canyon. The staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived. The room was as nice in person as it was on the web page- cute, clean and it had a nice, hot breakfast.

Take a tour. It's nice to be informed about where you are. The tour we went on was great! It was VERY well organized. The tour bus picked us up right in front of our hotel!

AWESOME!!!...
I love BestWestern Motel rooms, they are spectacular. The bed was big and awesome. The only thing that I wished we had in the room was a refrigerator and microwave. When I stayed in DiamondBar, California, we had these amenities. But overall everything was wonderful, I wished I would have stayed longer!!!... smiles. Thank you BestWestern McCarran Inn!!!...

Hard to find. Even GPS couldn't find it
I asked for an outside entrance and was told that, "We aren't a HOTEL 6 We are a classy hotel". For a classy hotel Id say get ice on each floor, get your drink machines fixed,make the breakfast decent and them maybe you will be a classy hotel.

Snowy Traveler
Short Stay
We stopped at this hotel as a halfway point between SLC and San Diego. The night staff person gave bad directions to our room. I went and parked the car and came back in and asked the night clerk if I could use the stairs by our room instead of the main stairs. She told me in an inpatient and terse way, "No I told you those are for emergencies only." All I could think was, "No you didn't!" The breakfast was pretty good. The room was clean and the cleaning staff seemed really nice. Additionally, the night clerk told us not to set the thermostat below 70 degrees. We didn't and it still froze up. Bad for the middle of 100+ degree day! We would probably stay there again.

Southern Utah Traveler
Convenient to airport
Just three minutes from airport, with shuttle and continental breakast. Room was a little nicer than exterior suggested. Perfect for those looking to stay over before hopping a flight out of Vegas (especially for those who do not want to be in a casino resort).

Great location from airport
My room was next to the ice machine, and it was noisy from 4:30am. The matress was overused, too sunken and soft.

Not a great place to stay
The room was reasonably clean but we could get NO air to come out of the air conditioner. Las Vegas is in the desert so I had sweat running down me. My husband is quite handy so he figured out that the pull-out filter was completely stopped up. After he pulled it out the air was fine. The next morning I went to get ice and the ice maker was unplugged with no sign or anything to indicate it was out of order. On the other hand, the continental breakfast was good, and even had waffles on it for our grandson. The lady taking care of it was very gracious and even got me some ice for my diet coke that I had in my room. When I checked out I told the guy at the desk about the filter and the ice maker and he just looked at me with no explanation or apology. When I turned around to leave he said "Now what was wrong with the AC"? So I told him again and still received no apology for either problem. In my book that makes for poor maintenance and poor customer service. My best advice is to find another hotel near the airport.
