Best Western McCarran Inn

The best advice I can give is if making a reservation other than direct from the Hotel call to make sure the reservation is there before you arrive. The staff was very friendly and offering free breakfast is very economical-thank you for that BW!

Shuttle service from the airport was VERY fast and friendly. When we got to the hotel they gave us a free upgraded room for no reason. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Hotel was close to the airport but not noisy. Not the nicest hotel I've stayed in, but it was nice and the price was great for what we got.

Better than I expected. The great discounted price [...]secured made it my best option. I was in Las Vegas for business, not looking for vacation ammenities, nor planning to spend much time in the room. The two night minimum was not an issue. For me, cost was a big factor and the Best Western McCarran suited the bill. No hassle is what I wanted and what I got. The included breaskfast could have been better (a lot of carbs, little fruit) but that is OK for what I needed. Rooms and bath were very clean and everything went smooth. WiFi locked right in. Pros: Location is good, pick up from and to airport are good. Room is good. Cons: When called for pick up from strip street, it is not convenient, I called 10 pm to ask for a pick up back to hotel, they asked me to wait at MGM taxi stand, but the shuttle didn't show up even after 1 hour, and then after 11, they won't have any pick up service. I hope it is just a remiss, not usual way.

checked in @ 4am. The door key didn't work. Back to desk. He came and let us in and left note for day shift to put new batteries in. In the morning we went to breakfast. Of course we couldn't get back into room again. Back to front desk. We were told someone would be there in a few minutes. A half hour later the cleaning lady let us in. Our toilet is plugged. Back to the front desk. Someone will be there shortly. We waited 15 minutes and went back to desk. Waited another 15 minutes and when we went to the desk this time the manager greeted us and I told him our situation. When we went back to room it was fixed, finally. We went for a walk to the strip. Came back and noone had even bothered to make the bed. Needless to say for what we paid for 2 nights I was very disappointed.

We went to Las Vegas for the celebration party for Rev. Moon's autobiography, As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen. The celebration included a Gala banquet and a concert by the Loving Life Minstry band, Sonic Cult, who were awesome! We stayed at the Best Western for two nights. It was OK. A fair value for the price. On Sunday we went to the Loving Life Ministry's worship service. Rev. Moon's youngest son, Rev. Hyung Jin Moon, the international president of the Unification Church, gave a very moving sermon and led us in a spitit filled meditation. It was a wonderful weekend.

Close both to the airport and the Strip, this hotel provide very good price per service ratio. Frequent planes makes it a little bit noisy.

Booked 2 rooms for 9 days and 3 days in some of our party needed to leave because an emergency had presented itself and a loved one landed in the hospital. We only needed one room and so we tried to c/o out of one room but were told we would not be refunded the money. That to me is obsurd. Never in my life have I stayed in a place that refused to refund the money for days that we were not even going to be using the room. Ridiculous!!!!! I will NEVER use this hotel nor this site EVER to book anything and will NOT recommend it to anyone.

[...]overbooked this hotel and they wanted to send us to a sister hotel 20 miles outside of Vegas. We were not happy!

the people at the desk were helpful when they stated our reservation took place a month earlier. They made it right. But they were too busy to answer the phone when we wanted a shuttle and we had to bring a taxi from the strip back to the hotel. The rooms were clean and functional, we just wanted a place to lay down, rest up and fly home in the morning.
