Best Western McCarran Inn

I was surprised and glad to find that the room itself was more updated than the common areas of the hotel. Getting a comfortable king bed for the price I paid was great. Continental breakfast is very simple but free. Short drive to strip. Access to the parking lot entrance of hotel is on a one-way street and if coming from the strip you must navigate all lanes of traffic from right to left in a short amount of time.

This is an excellent hotel. The price, location and service were all right. Very clean hotel. Both rooms and general lounging areas were immaculate. I had access to a vehicle so it was very convenient to get around to all the tourist spots. The beds were like new and the carpet was fresh and very clean. The bed linen were crisp and fresh. I've already recommended it to my friends and I would definitely stay there again.

It was a good value and the hotel was clean. That is all I needed for this trip since I only wanted a place to sleep and clean up myself.

Rooms were really nice but we had a room on the first floor next to the area where they prepare the continental breakfast and they made so much noise starting around 5 a.m. that ruined our nights rest. If you stay make sure to avoid that area!

I got a great price through orbitz. But this hotel experience was not good. I would look for better options out there for comparable prices. The bad; pool was very cold, even with the outdoor temps being about 105-110. Pool was full of grime and dust from the wind blowing. Very dirty, had garbage even in it. Hotel staff was not courteous. Rooms are across the street from the beginning of the landing strip where planes land, very noisy and you can hear and feel the vibration in the hotel. Tv had bad reception, no hot water in my shower. I walked everywhere. Not really in walking distance to any of the big name casino's or hotels. Shuttle is inconvenient and doesn't go as scheduled.I had to pay for a shuttle from the airport. I even called the manager at the McCarran INN, [...], she said they wouldn't pick me up for 3 more hours. Continental breakfast is a joke. Not enough food to make it worth even getting up. A mere $2 filler type of meal. Save yourself the hassle of a bad trip, do not go here. Chose a better location. Just my opinion. Thanks.

Nice hotel overall. Room had a funny smell, but we dealt with it. Free shuttle to the strip was great!!! Very comfortable bed.

We only spent one night, and it was more than enough. After hours of driving we expected to rest and instead got a lot of stress: a/c not working (with a temperature outside of 115 degrees!!!), a clogged toillet, that WE had to fix it (when calling for help. we were told someone would come to fix it, and the someone came, to give us the tool to use) and the keys that never worked when we left the room. And to top all that, the breakfast room is microscopic, with the guets having to sit on the stairs to eat for lack of space. I believe some serious changes are in order.

Although the location was not bad, the only place to eat locally was an AM/PM. Wish the area was a little more developed. For being so close to the airport, noise was never an issue. The common areas of the hotel could be kept up a little better. Most of the staff was very nice. Had to get my room key recoded a couple of times. The bed was very comfortable.
