In the bad part of town
It wasn't what I expected. It was in a bad-looking part of town. Somewhere I probably wouldn't want to walk around at night. The hotel looks run-down. The room was decent. You have to put your room card key in a slot to get the lights and a/c to work. For the money spent, it was fine, but next time I will look for a hotel in a better location.

Vegas is in the desert. Bring your own snacks, water. We didnt find a great grocery store to help with any of this.

invasion of privacy
i had the privacy notice in the door slot and the maids went in and ransacked my room going through all my personal belongings and throwing things away that were not trash(meaning they werent in the trash were trash belongs) and because when you know your room will be cleaned you take extra security or privacy precautions.the mgr. told me it was mandatory after 3 days for them to go in no matter what and when i called her boss on that statement she reneged the statement.her boss who said he was the owner? told me to make a list now and bring it down and 5 min. later when i did he had left the premises and later on he saw me and left again without following up.he rolled his eyes when i told him how violated i felt and said"no matter what my list said he guaranteed that nothing was missing"yet low and behold things were.not only that they didnt even change the sheets, leave me towels, coffee cups, sugar, toilet paper etc.at least if you are going to violate my privacy,do the supposed job you say you were in there doing.i hope he doesnt put his ownership on the line for the maids he guaranteed.also right down the street literally is where all the homeless people live right off the ave d exit all the way to wash.st and the lot on wash and main.dont stay on any floor except top.you can hear everything and its not good if you like sleep or just piece and quiet.

Great place to stay
This hotel a great option to stay near the action. The location near the Las Vegas Outlets and just 10 minutes of the strip is a great value.

Clean rooms with great food
The location is about 5 miles north of downtown Las Vegas. It is also located about 2 blocks from Las Vegas Blvd which brings you to both downtown Las Vegas and the famous strip. The food in the resturant was outstanding and cheap. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Could have used a small refrig in the room.

Nice But OLD
Nice & warm attitude from the employees. Was built in 1906 so do not expect a strip type hotel. The room we stayed in was clean with 1950's decor and small. The whole Hotel is just old. Clean though. Would I stay there again....Probably if I only wanted a place to stay and gamble.

Quiet Quick Get away!
We just needed a quick convenient place to stay that was close to some family and downtown area. When we came in at check-in they were a little overwhelmed but they immediately gave us two free drinks in the restaurant to keep us occupied. I was so happy that they allowed pets which surprisingly unlike a lot of pet friendly hotels they were very clean and not too noisy with barking :) Staff was very nice!

!!!No Doubt..Best Downtown Hotel!!!!
This is a GREAT Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. The Bar/Restaurant attached to the Hotel has great food and cheap drinks. The rooms are clean, and we got a great breakfast in the morning. The restaurant manager "[...]" was GREAT. He is a big bald guy from the East Coast, and he treated us like we were family all weekend. He gave us suggestions for our dinner, and told us where to go for fun Downtown. The cook "[...]" even came to ask us how our meal was. This hotel/bar has a great Atmosphere and is conveniently located to everything in Vegas. This is where i will stay next time i come to Vegas.
