Dining

Picasso
Soaring cove ceilings, intimate nooks and great bursts of flowers make Picasso a dream of country elegance. Here, master Chef Julian Serrano's French-Mediterranean cuisine takes flight in a room that boasts an awesome profusion of original Picasso oils and ceramics. The first Las Vegas chef to be honored with the James Beard Award for "Best Chef, Southwest," Serrano showcases his ingredient-driven, seasonal cuisine in two masterful menus: a four-course tasting menu and a five-course Chef's Degustation. Picasso is the proud recipient of the AAA Five Diamond Award of Excellence for 2002, 2003 and 2004. In addition, surveyors in the 2002 Zagat Las Vegas Restaurant Survey voted Picasso "Most Popular Restaurant" in Las Vegas.
Todd English's Olives
The inventive menu of flatbread pizzas, housemade pastas, rotisserie dishes and flame-licked seafood and meats reads like a tour of the Riviera coastline. Conveniently located in the Via Bellagio, Olives is the perfect setting for a late lunch or early supper between browsing the boutiques. The intimate outdoor patio offers al fresco dining, weather permitting.
Circo
Beyond the lighthearted decor, the menu is decidedly serious - a blend of the Maccioni matriarch Egidiana's traditional home cooking and seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine. The spirited menu veers from lusty appetizers and pastas to rotisserie dishes and beef and seafood entrees. Pastry Chef Gregory Gourreau's irresistible desserts have been acclaimed as "Best in Las Vegas" by LasVegas Life Magazine.
Yellowtail
The Light Group, Las Vegas' premier hospitality and lifestyle development organization, raises its culinary portfolio once again with the addition of Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar at Bellagio. Yellowtail's traditional and modern Japanese cuisine sets a new standard for fine-dining.
Noodles
From the expansive display of noodle-filled apothecary jars to the lavish use of gilt and polished marble, designer Tony Chi's striking design for Noodles is sleek, modern and inspired. Chart your own culinary journey of the Far East with authentic noodle, rice and congee specialties from Thailand, Japan, China, and Vietnam, as well as Hong Kong-style barbecue specialties.
Prime Steakhouse
Superstar Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten raises steakhouse dining to new heights at PRIME, located at lakeside with views of the fountains and lights of Las Vegas. Brimming with Baccarat chandeliers, plush furnishings and gilt galore, PRIME evokes the charms of a luxurious 1930s-style speakeasy. The wine cellar is deep with great California reds and first growth Bordeaux, and the adjoining outdoor patio is a lovely setting for hand-crafted cocktails and cigars.
FIX
Classic American fare focusing on simply prepared, top-quality fish, meat and poultry, cooked to order on a wood-burning grill. Freshly baked breads and desserts round out the menu. A sophisticated yet welcoming ambience is constructed almost entirely of Costa Rican Padouk Wood. Guests will enjoy a high-quality menu with professional, detailed service in a fun, energetic environment. Designed by the Graft Lab of Berlin, a world-renowned leader in urban modern design.
The Buffet at Bellagio
World-class chef's provide an incredible array of international delights served in a buffet setting.
Le Cirque
For over a quarter century, Le Cirque has remained the gustatory temple at the epicenter of New York's social, business and power dining scenes. Ringmaster Sirio Maccioni, long recognized as the "world's most charismatic restaurateur," brought his Four-Star culinary magic to the Las Vegas Strip with the opening of Bellagio. Perched astride an eight-acre lake filled with dancing fountains, Le Cirque is a whimsical jewel box of color and detail, from the star-studded entry of polished woods to the sumptuous, swooping silk-tented ceiling.
Michael Mina
Set in the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens and offering views of shimmering pools, Michael Mina radiates luxury. This AAA Four Diamond Award winning restaurant features contemporary seafood with continental flair. Awash in soft neutral tones, polished rare woods and sprays of fresh flowers, the room brims with sophisticated modern charm. Specialties include Caviar Parfait, Tartare of Ahi Tuna with Scotch Bonnet Chile Oil, Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster Potpie.

A bit of a disappointment

Booked the Bellagio to celebrate a milestone in our lives. Arrived to find light bulbs burned out in the room, a standard TV set (instead of a more modern, HD TV set you would expect in a "deluxe" suite), and dated guest reference materials in the room that gave conflicting check out times with what we had been told at the desk. Was expecting the "Ocean's Eleven" experience and found it wanting. With so many competing hotels close by, it was disappointing to see the Bellagio fall short of its potential.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Penn and Teller are enjoying a 10 year contract to play at the Rio, a nearby resort accessible by way of a free shuttle service from Bally's (next door to the Bellagio); the magic act is constantly updated with new material and the humor and magic make for an enjoyable entertainment experience. Seeing them live is just plain fun!

Lacking in customer service

We found this property to be very impersonal and staff rude. Check out time on our itinerary was noon - at check in we were told this was 11am per their policy - the front desk person sighed and slammed their policy on the counter to show me their policy. Stood in line at the concierge for shows - someone approached us in the line up (possibly to fast track) was asked what we were in line for - told them it was for the show tickets - we were not asked if we were guests at the hotel - were asked to go to the box office. At the Casino in this property I was playing the slots for about an hour and no one offered a drink. In other resorts you get drinks offered promptly.

Buying a daily bus pass works great - great savings and do not have to wait in line up for taxi. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant in Stratosphere - great service, great food and very well priced.

Price Difference, Cleaniness, Room Request

Staff attitudes was good. The following are targeting at my disappointing experiences and the minimum expectation of the delivery of services. Price I booked online was $179 but when checking in, the staff first told me she is going to charge me $139 but then she said " oh you paid online already" what happened to the lowest price gaurentee? How do I get the price difference? The moment I walked in I saw a strip of stain about an inch of on the bedding cover... As to room request, I called the hotel to make my request of NON SMOKING ROOM and a room CLOSE to elevator due to my allergy to smoke residue and bad knee. What happened was that my requests were not ready for me. I could only get a non-smoking room but it is ALL THE WAY at the end of the hall way. and if I wanted a room closer to the elevator, they will need to defog the room in order to get rid of the smoke ordor and it will take more than an hour. because of the hotel failed to delivery the pre-requested services, I had to burden my bad knee in order to get a room that I will not have allery . What a disappointing experience with a 5-star resport.

Where's the WOW?

This is a nice hotel in a good location but I expected WOW. The food was overpriced for the quality and service, check-in was unorganized and slow, casino smelled strongly of smoke. Our room was at the end of the corridor making for a long walk to get anywhere.

not impressed

Stayed here as part of my son's wedding. I also booked a room at the Signature for other guests. I was sorely disappointed in every interaction with the hotel staff. From the idiot who screened people getting on the elevator, who asked me for my room key while I was holding 4 coffees and a bag of danish. It's in my pocket, if you want it bad enough you can either hold this or get it yourself. To everyone else who was going on break, getting off duty, or simply too busy to acknowledge you, which seemed to be everyone. Whereas at the Signature, check-in was at 3, we journeyed over at about 11am to pay the tab for the future guests. Would you like to see the rooms, Sir? Can we help you with anything? After being snubbed and irratated by the staff at the Bellagio, it was nice to see somewhere where customer service mattered.

Bellagio was only so, so

Generally the experience wasn't bad, but with a banner name like the Bellagio it was well below expectations. Our room was small (compared to prior stays at other comparable hotels and was not particularly clean. There were serious cracks in the shower grout leading to an obvious mold problem; the soap dish (under the complimentary soap) was disgusting; no in-room coffee; there was lint on the walls; drips down the wall covering of unknown origin. On the other hand public spaces were clean and well maintained; CIRCO restaurant food & service were excellent. No non-smoking gaming areas.
