New and clean. Very comfortable bed and media system (HDMI port, USB, etc). Only problem is the toilet's water keep running after the flush and require a quick fix.

Dining

Julian Serrano is fantastic.

Really cool rooms

Would recommend Fri, Jan 7, 2011
Rooms were completely automated, all controlled from a touch panel on the nightstand. The TV, thermostat, lighting and even drapes were turned on/off or opened/closed by the touch screen. Very cool.

City Center Las Vegas

Would recommend Wed, Jan 5, 2011
Staying at the Aria Hotel makes you not want to get to know any other hotel in town. Great room, great food, the casino is ok, shoping around the corner.

New Years in Vegas!

Would recommend Wed, Jan 5, 2011
The hotel was modern and had several great restaurants. however, the hotel was not prepared for the large number of people. Took 1.5hrs to get our breakfast on the 31st and the first night we were there we had to eat pizza because no restaurant was open after 11.

Our Vegas Vacation

Would not recommend Tue, Jan 4, 2011
Our room was clean. Several light bulbs were burned out and we did not have a TV remote. As far as the hotel, staff was friendly. It did take a long time to receive drinks from the staff while gambling. Staff helpful when asked questions and directions.

great rooms with modern technology!

Would recommend Mon, Jan 3, 2011
I recently traveled to Vegas for two nights to meet some friends and stayed at the new Aria. The rooms are large and comfortable. When you walk in for the first time you are greeted by the curtains opening to showcase a wall of windows. The modern technology in the room is very very cool. The internet is free, newspapers are free with your roomcard and the bathrooms are outstanding. The casino, drinks and food are expensive but overall you find a great atmosphere. The staff were great too. I highly recommend this hotel and I have stayed everywhere!

Dining

The dining choices are good, but expect to pay a high price.

Very Nice!!

Would recommend Sun, Jan 2, 2011
The Aria is a contemporary, chic hotel. Many great restaurants to choose from in the hotel, but they are VERY pricey (My girlfriend and I ate sushi at one of them, and it cost us $110 and we didn't drink very much). We also ate at Julian Serrano and it was delicious and moderatley priced (we ate a lot, and drank a good amount too for about $150). We stayed in a Corner Suite, and it was gorgeous. Bed was very comfy. The entire room is remote controlled (lights, curtains, music, temperature, etc.) The view was incredible. The main toilet (there were 2 bathrooms) has a heated seat and will wash you off when your done (ha!). Overall, the entire suite was very luxurious and relaxing.

Money saver

We walked across the Strip to Walgreens and bought some food and booze so that we could save a little money. Drinks in the casino were $6 - $8 for a beer and $10 - $15 for cocktails, so that can add up quickly.

Waiting Waiting Waiting

Would not recommend Sat, Jan 1, 2011
I am writing this, while I am still staying in the Aria resort. [...] Checking in took us about 1 hour waiting in the front desk line plus additional 30 minutes for the check-in agent to find our reservation for our 2nd room and finally for finding us two rooms next to each other or at least on the same floor. For having 2 rooms next to each other, we needed to give up the city view. The agent had the opinion that we only made reservation for one room with city view. I offered to pay a premium for the second room, she replied that this is not possible [...]. After agreeing and one more hour waiting for the rooms to be cleaned, we finally made it to move in our rooms in the 17th floor with poolview. After a while we noticed a loud noise and vibrations from a large A/C unit below the rooms and a repeating cracking sound. So we went to the front desk, waited again and told our problem to a different agent who promised that we can move the rooms next day to a quieter part of the hotel. Next morning we received a message that we can change the rooms to a different side in the 17th floor, but the rooms are not ready yet and will be held for us until 6 pm. Coming back from our excursion to Hoover Dam by 5 pm we went straight to the front desk, waited and asked for our new room keys ...... The agent started to prepare a new key set, but only for one room - she did not know about the 2nd room. We explained all again from the beginning, she started to search for 2 available rooms close or next to each other. (This should be an easy database query in a Hotel with 4000 rooms!) After various calls to her supervisor and 30 minutes more waiting, she came up with 2 rooms on the 12th floor far away from each other. Since this seemed to be the only possibility to be at least on the same floor with our son, we agreed. The agent was very friendly and also called a bellman to assist us with moving our luggage. After waiting close to one hour in our old rooms a very friendly bellman came with our new keys and took care about moving us to the 12th floor ..... Arrival at first room – we were satisfied – not the best view but very quiet ...... The bellman looks at the number of the 2nd room and says "there is something wrong, I just checked in another party to the room next to it and have seen that this room is already occupied!" .... Bellman calls Frontdesk and explains the problem about 10 times to the agent (30 minutes), who did not understand it ..... He talks to the supervisor who understood the problem and who came up right away with 2 strip view rooms next to each other on the 54th floor and a 150$ resort credit ..... [...] ..... Going up to the 54th floor ..... Entering the first room ..... A very loud vibrating noise comes from the ceiling ...... Searching where it comes from, switching off everything .... No success .... Bellman calls frontdesk again ... Thanks to the so patient and friendly bellman we moved in to 2 connecting quiet rooms on the 19th floor with city view – that is what we intended to book and wanted from the beginning ... The entire process only took a total of approx. 6 hours waiting ;-) .Aria Resort offers bits and pieces of interesting architecture but not really in harmony. Definitely it has great art objects to offer. The food and service is good, especially we like the Serrano restaurant. The assignment of rooms and the general performance of the front desk is chaotic and very poor. One of our Restaurant reservations was lost. The TV in one the rooms stopped working and was not fixed during our stay. A hint: Use the north vallet parking – directon Vdara Hotel – the waiting time is less.
