Spiffy Vegas Hotel

The hotel is spiffy and new - with very clean, spacious rooms. Friendly service. The lighting in the guest rooms could be a bit brighter. We dined at Sage, and it was fantastic!

CAN YOU COMPETE?

THE HOTEL SPORTS A VERY EUROPEAN FEEL. VERY CLEAN AND CONTEMPORY. THE FOOD IN THE BUFFET NEEDS A GOOD REVAMP BECAUSE IT WAS ONLY FAIR AT BEST. THE OTHER RESTAURANTS THERE WERE QUITE GOOD. THE ROOMS ARE QUITE LARGE AND PROMOTE A FEEL OF WANTING TO STAY IN THE ROOM LONGER TO REST AND RELAX. THE SHOWER GELS, SOAP AND BODY LOTION WERE TERRIBLE. THESE LITTLE GOODIES ARE WHAT WE TAKE FOR GRANTED, BUT THESE WERE SO POOR WE LEFT THEM BEHIND. COMPARED TO THE BELLAGIO, VENETIAN, AND CAESAR'S THE ARIA HAS A TOUGH UPHILL BATTLE.

Nice trip.

We stayed, played, and eat at the Aria Hotel. The room was very nice and clean. Really comfy bed. A few cons: when I tried to reach dining-in-the-room service, I was put on the hold for 20 min and could not get anyone to take my order. The food variety and freshness at the buffet was just ok for the price. Overall, the hotel is new and clean and the staff was very nice compare to my previous stay at the Excalibur.

If one is looking for a great buffet-Treasure Island is the one. Great price, variety of the food, and also very fresh and tasty. We also liked the Mandalay Bay buffet.

Hong Kong goes to Las Vegas!

A friend and I spent three nights at the one year old Aria for Thanksgiving. The friend and her seventeen year old son had a room near mine and agreed. The rooms were ample, beautiful in a metropolitan way, with a fantastic view of city lights. The location was central Vegas, excellent. We easily walked to other casinos, took short taxi rides to shows, rented a car to view Red Rock in the Mohave. There was plenty for a teen to do even though he was not old enough to gamble, and it was too cold to swim. We ate at the Tapas restaurant and at a Chinese restaurant, both part of the hotel. We did not mind paying extra for some luxurious dining, a concept that finally has taken root and blossomed in the desert! The casino is huge, no claustrophobia there, but if you are budget conscious, slots at nearby hotels are gentler on the wallet. Regardless, recommended, would go, again!

Aria corner suite

Cool and very modern hotel. Corner suite was great with an awesome view. 1 bedroon with two baths and almost 1000 square feet. Long walk to strip or just to pick up your car at the valet. Controls for lights, curtains, t stat for AC, sound system are all electronic and done by remote and takes a little while to master.Employees were polite and well informed. Food a little above average. Master bath wash sinks are poorly designed and tends to splas water all over yourself and surrouinding areas regardless on how carefull you are.We booked the room thru [...] and combined it with a luxury rental car and payed a very reasonable price,We stayed mid week and room average around $200.00 a night and well wrth it. However I would not pay the full $500.00 a night they get on some nights.Extremely comfortable bed and extremely uncomfortable living room couch.

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Check travel sites for deals. All of Las Vegas is on sale now. Also rent a car, too far to walk different places and rates are cheap and valet parking is free at all hotels with plenty of parking if you do not valet but will get a long walk.

A Rare Aria Of Amazing

This being my first trip to Vegas, the Aria delivered everything I would expect from a premier Vegas hotel and more. The staff were kind, quick, and extremely helpful. I honestly left feeling like I had received special treatment and that alone will make me return again.I'd also like to say that the woman who works in the barbershop ([...], I believe) really helped set the tone for me and my friends. We received great haircuts and really felt like the hotel was dedicated to delivering excellent personal attention and it showed. As far as the casino is concerned, excellent staff all around. It was clear that at certain times of day the waitresses were either not on shift or no drinks were offered. This did discourage my gambling, but that helped us save some money for bigger winnings later in the evening.I'd like to extend my thanks to the hotel for keeping the pool open despite the slightly colder climate. Coming from the wintery East coast, i'll take the opportunity to swim in a (heated?) pool whenever possible. As far as constructive criticism goes - it would have been nice if my room had automatically turned itself on when I arrived, like my friend's did. In fact, it appeared as if someone had been in the room before me (just a few dishevelled towels in the bathroom). Also, there was a day when my food from the night before and room were never turned over. I realized upon ordering room service the following day that I should have called when I was done. Still - I would expect the table and room to be turned over between 10:00AM-3:00PM while I was out.All in all, an excellent hotel and staff that I won't hesitate to come back and visit again. Thank-you so much for an unforgettable and fun-filled first trip to Vegas!
