We stay here every time we go to Tahoe. Perfect location, near shopping, lake, and Heavenly. Very nice staff. Great casino floor too.

Good stay.

Would recommend Wed, Dec 16, 2015
This was my second time staying at Harvey's. This hotel/casino is clean and comfortable. The staff members are polite. It's great that it's in the middle of a village that includes shops, places to eat, and Heavenly Resort. Therefore, staying here should not be at all boring. However, there was one little incident that occurred. When I booked my stay, I was sure I booked the two luxury queen non smoking room, which was also stated in my itinerary. When I checked in, the concierge stated I booked a king non smoking room. I stated to him that I booked a two queen room and he responded that there wasn't a preference stated. Luckily he was able to get me a two queen room non smoking - although, it was a pet friendly room, which I didn't necessarily need but was the only available room. Besides this mix up, I enjoyed my overall stay.

Noisy heater in the room at night.

Would not recommend Tue, Dec 1, 2015
The hotel seems ok. The room has a good view. The fan of the heater is so noisy at night. The hotel needs to have service on the heater unit.

NOT a good value for premium holiday rates we paid!

Would not recommend Tue, Dec 1, 2015
We paid for a luxury view room with two queen beds... and we paid premium rates for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We were initially given a very average room with one king bed... and then (following extended discussions with the front desk who told us they we sold out of rooms with two queen beds... which we paid for in advance), we were finally moved to an equally average room with two queen beds. The view was great... as it is nearly anywhere in Lake Tahoe... but the room was barely acceptable with chipped furniture and soiled carpets, etc. The room did NOT fit our definition of luxury in any respect! (The support staff like the bellman and maid service were great... it's just the hotel itself that is not up to par for the rates they charge.)

So Much Fun!

Would recommend Tue, Dec 1, 2015
We loved everything about our stay with the exception of having to pay $14.00 extra for Internet services. That was ridiculous. We could have stayed at Harrah's where we saw the Pablo Cruise concert but chose to stay at Harvey's. We have choices and next time, they should offer the internet at no extra charge. Other than that, it was great.

Great location, and great hotel for the money.

Would recommend Tue, Dec 1, 2015
My only complaint was that I booked a double queen room, however upon arrival they stated that my reservation was for a single king bed, and that it would be an additional $20 to upgrade to a double queen room. Other than that, my stay was comfortable, and convenient. The valet staff were quick and friendly. I would stay here again.

Their four star rating is over-rated

Would not recommend Tue, Nov 24, 2015
This hotel charges $20 for resort fees and it is said to be a four star hotel. It's more like a two star with a great location. It didn't even have coffee in the rooms and charged for it in the lobby, the furniture had lots of wear and tear and when I called after booking it on line, the help desk told me to call the front desk and the front desk sent me back to their phone banks. I got a reduced rate but that rate wasn't even a deal for a tiny room that wasn't much nicer than most Motel 6s that give you free coffee in the lobby, which they don't. If you like feeling ripped off a place with a highly inflated star rating, some here. I won't be fooled again and have begun to realize star ratings are not what they used to mean.
