Seniors run away from home
It was clean and sufficient. We do not like a bed against the wall as it is hard to get out. We thought the price was great until we found other motels in the area at a much lower price. Probably won't use Motel 6 again.

10 Great Reasons To Stay Here
1 - We have stayed at this Motel 6 property multiple times. 2 - We have visited the Motel during Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. 3 - We have had a consistently good experience with the staff and the rooms. 4 - We always get one or two rooms always with two queen beds. 5 - The rooms are basic and efficient but have all we need for family stays. 6 - The showers are always hot with little warm-up delay! 7 - The other people who stay here seem to know the travelers are tired and want to relax - so it seems that the other guests are quiet and considerate of each other. 8 - This Motel property is located back off the HWY 50 road so it cuts down on the road noise. 9 - There is a large grocery store directly across the road. 10- There are many eating places within walking distance as well as several gas station choices. This is a dependable, consistent and recommended motel to stay at.

It was freshly painted and basically clean but it looked like they had painted over mold above the shower. The soap holder in the shower was slanted towards the ground so it wouldn't hold the bar of soap. The "bath" towels were postage sized. There were no kleenex in the room. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed between the bed and nightstand. Men probably wouldn't notice any of these things but the Hunter's Wife did.

Average but worn accommodations.
Looking for a clean room and good nights sleep in a clean bed. The shower and toilet bowl were badly gouged and scratched. We trusted they were clean anyway. It is in a remote area, so didn't expect much except that Motel 6 is reliable and affordable.

I don't have my confirmation on hand, but I thought I booked the room at $39.95, but when I got there, I had to pay the going rate and my bill was $52.00. If I had known I was going to pay over $50, I may have stayed at a different place. Thank goodness the room was very clean and the staff was nice.
