good location, low budget
The hotel is conveniently downtown and low-priced. The room was clean, but the bed was saggy and soft and the pillows were too thick to sleep on.

Checkin hassle
I was offered a room with ONE double bed. After telling the clerk that we had reserved a room with two double beds. She said none is available. I refused to accept the room with one bed and ready to leave. Then I show her my printed confirmation paper, clearly stated room with TWO double bed. Reluctly she gave us the key to a room with Two double bed. After this hassle, she acted nicely with no further troulbe. We enjoyed our stay afterwards.

Center of everything
Had to add a night. All was taken care of with one phone call, and everything was ready when we arrived. Knowledgeable staff.

We were given each $5 credit tickets for meals at the Red Lion about 15 blocks east. Good food, good gaming, safe environment.

Clean, comfortable
Although room was older, well-used, it was clean. Carpet could use steam cleaning, but otherwise quiet, comfy bed, good shower. Staff friendly, helpful...great recommendation for breakfast.

Road Warrior
Convenient Downtown Location
This met our need as a place to spend the night after a long day on the road. It is located on the main drag downtown about halfway between the two freeway interchanges for Elko. Most restaurants were near the interchanges and easily accessible from this location however there were a few in the downtown business district as well. They provided a coupon for $5 off of a meal per person at a couple of locations. We used them for breakfast and it worked very well. A number of workers from outside the area stayed there as well.

Dog friendly, basic accommodations
Inexpensive, clean rooms and comfortable bed - about what you would expect for the price. The motel is old but well-maintained. Overall it is a fine place to stop overnight on your way through Nevada and need dog-friendly accommodations.

Good value for the price.
The room was clean and comfortable. It's a good place for people just passing through who want a place to crash on the way somewhere else. the pool was small and uninviting although small children might not mind.
