worst hotel
The air conditioning did not work, sheets were too short, bed was very old and lumpy, carpet was filthy, tv was from circa 1990, paint was peeling off the ceiling, the bath tub was chipped, took for ever to get hot water, room was in disrepair overall, security lock was broken. Although the price was cheap the room was not worth the price. I would have gone to a different hotel if there had been a room available. Worst experiance in a hotel that I have ever had. If you want to have a early breakfast you can't as the retaurant does not open until 7:00 a.m. Stay away from this dump!!

Night out!
Wife and I decided to spend the night in town and picked this hotel based on the low price. Our first room was okay but there was no hot water and the TV was not working. I went to the front desk and the clerk changed us to another room. When we went to the other room, wow were we suprised. It was soooo much nicer and bigger with a whirlpool tub and king size bed. It turned out to be a realy wonderful evening.

stockmans is a complete dump
The room I had was shabby and the rug was filthy. The TV is about twenty years old and a 13". The shower head barely worked and there were two lights missing in the lamps. The coffee shop doesn't open until 6:00 am. There are many better choices in Elko. I won't return.

Never, never, never stay at this hotel!!
After an 11 hour drive, I had problems up front with my reservation; the hotel wanted to charge me and I had already paid [...] So after an hour and a half I finally got into the room and was very dissappointed. Later, I would discover it was worse than just the room appearance, it was noisy all night, the water in the shower would not maintain a stable temperature, the only electrical outlet was in the bathroom and I didn't feel safe there either. I'll never stay here again and would opt to driver another 100 miles to a better place, even if I had to pay much more. Don't waste your time or money on this place!!

3 rooms 2 nights
first we checked in and the room they gave us wasn't ready and this was at 5:pm the 2nd room was very nice, decided to stay an extra night, got back to hotel monday night late and the heater was running and wouldn't shut down. no maintanince on prem. the young desk clerk wanted to know what we wanted her to do, we said how about changing us to another room. no other king rooms available so we got moved to 2 queens the were more like 2 doubles. and they had been quite used up if you know what i mean. in the room with 2 queens the water in the tub would not shut off but that is another story.

You get what you pay for. Looking for a place to sleep while traveling on a budget? This is the place. Clean place and extremely nice staff. Although not sure if I would bring children here, casino crowd a bit rough.
