Super 8 Carson City

OUR STAY AT THIS MOTEL WAS VERY PLEASANT, THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND DID EVERTHING TO ACCOMADANT OUR REQUESTS. EVEN GIVING US A COUPLE EXTRA HOURS OF CHECK OUT TIME BECAUSE OF A MEETING I HAD TO ATTEND AND COULD NOT GET BACK BEFORE THE REGULAR CHECK OUT TIME. ON THE DOWNSIDE OF OUR STAY IS THE TV STATION SELECTION, THIS MOTEL IS IN SERIOUS NEED OF A NEW SATELITE SYSTEM CARRIER SUCH AS DISH NETWORK OR DISH TV,

NOT MUCH TO LOOK AT ON THE OUTSIDE, BUT NICE ON THE INSIDE, MORE THAN I NEED. COFFEE MAKER , MICROWAVE, FRIDGE.

If you are looking for a clean, updated, sound proof room then you are out of luck with this one. Dirty bathroom, hair on bed sheets and a entrance door that did not lock. When we called the front desk to ask for extra towels we were told, that they only had one towel and that we would have to go and get it at the front desk! Bottom line, this hotel does not make the grade. My advice, look elsewhere!

One could hear everyone else's plumbing and footsteps. The access halls had the dead cigarette smell in them. The breakfast choices were worse than horrible if someone has any interest in good nutrition. The lampshade had a big gash in it. The HVAC was noisy, the baffle guard was missing and the room had a constant draft which required the window unit to turn on, thwarting sleep and television audio.

Front desk staff was always great and friendly, was delighted to get a $30/night room that was rated above 3 stars. However, the room was pretty dirty, it had been cleaned but the sheets had some hair on them, namely that brown blanket on the bed which I threw to the floor. The bathroom towels had alot of stains on them, alot, found one that looked decent which I used. I didn't complain though so maybe they could have gotten me some clean ones, but I doubt it as such a high volume of towels/bed covers were dirty that I doubt they had much better.

the motel is alright but it needs to be improved, the refrigerator was broken, there was a hole in the bedspread and the maid came way to early and if you asked them to come back they would not.

Very bad bed and pillows, dirty carpet, place not to well taken care of.

Great value. Good location. Restaurants close. Excellent staff. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in Carson City on our way to Northstar @ Tahoe to do some mountain bike riding. The hotels in Carson City are much cheaper than Truckee, CA or Lake Tahoe, NV.
