Very Nice but noisy
Very nice place. I really like the Holiday Inn Express hotels. Our room was great, clean, comfortable and well maintained. Like new. The downside was that it was right across from the vending machines, so there was a lot of noise from people using the vending machines. Also, our room was right next to the workout room. So, at 6 am, when the room opened the TV in the room was turned on, which awoke us. Another room, in a quiter location would have been much nicer.

Disappointed
The attedent at the dest was not very helpful. My cousin is in Intensive care at the hospital across the street. We needed to stay at a hotel close by. We asked about other nights, and she was only able to offer a considerably more expensive room. When we asked about other hotels in the area, she said they were all booked!! (Like, how would she know? I just wanted to know if there were others that she knew of!!!) Half of the pillows in our room did not have pillow cases. There was only one hand towel, no bath towels and no face cloths. We called the front desk and asked for some. We even asked if we needed to come down and pick them up. She said they would bring them up. After a couple of hours, we hadn't heard anything. I went to go get some ice, and found them hanging on the door handle. No one knocked on the door or anything--and there was no "do not disturb" sign on the door. When we opened the bundle, there were the pillow cases and two bath towels. Still no face cloths!!! When we checked out, we asked for a receipt, she said the receipt would come through e-mail, via [...]. I was VERY disappointed in this stay, and with the service. [...]

Go to Reds 395 for family-style dining at affordable prices. Great place for kids.

Great Stay, Location, and Price
Rooms were very well maintained and nicely decorated. Location, made it easy to travel 30 minute bueatiful to Lake Tahoe, and the Shakspearin Theater on the Lake at Incline Village.
