Good location for me and nice folks.
I stay here for work and it is very convenient for that. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very nice.

Decent Stay
Nice stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Rooms were quiet. Staff in the lobby were friendly. AC worked great. Felt safe in area where hotel was located. Continental breakfast was not a continental breakfast. Was very dissapointed in this. They offered coffee and pre packaged pastries that you find in a convenience store. They did however offer coupons for discounted price for meal at the local Dennys which had very friendly staff and decent food.

Disgusting
Carpet FILTHY and torn. Sink faucet not working properly. Sink stopper removed. Cigarette burn in sink. Mattress was like a stack of cardboard. Front desk attendant could barely speak or understand English and and could not give directions TO the hotel. If it had not been 1:00 AM at check in I would have left without question. Double ICK! TOTALLY GROSS!

At check-in I made it clear I had 2 dogs with me, but the clerk said nothing about them. Upon check-out another clerk said I was supposed to pay an additional fee and treated me like I did something wrong. When I pointed out where I checked the box saying I had pets, she shut her trap. They need to get their chit together at check-in.

Good place to rest
We only need a place to sleep at night. So this hotel suits us just fine. They provide a continental breakfast, but there is a Denny's a short drive down the road, and if you tell them you are staying at Days Inn, they give a 20% dicount on you bill.

There is a safeway next to the Dennys. You can stock up on snacks and store them in the fridge in the room. The rooms also have a microwave, so you can have popcorn while watching movies on HBO.

Went to a car show in Carson City. We have stayed there before. [...] Entry key did not work, had to get a master key to enter the evening we arrived and had been out. The next day we got that fixed. We will be returning to this hotel in July. Good price for the area.

Dennys is really close and always have specials. [...] Costco has buy one get one free coupons for denny's and other local establishments.

it was good close to where i had to go
I went to carson city for a bowling tournament. It was good that i stayed there cuz it was close to the freeway and only afew minutes from where I had to bowl. If the days inn had a pool and hot tub that would be nice. Other than that the room was good for the price.

Not a bargain
What I didn't like was the manager telling me if I had called them directly, I would have saved $7. Lesson learned.

the bad
the only good thing was we had a bed to sleep in at night. Breakfast was a snack cake you get at the corner store. Stop at this place only if you can't make it anywhere else.

Wheres the microwave?
Our room did not have a microwave or a refrigerator. We asked to have them but they never placed them into our room. We were not sure if the housekeeping staff spoke English they would just look at you smile and shake their head yes. The front desk staff was very pleasant. They wanted to charge us for a roll out bed, but never offered to reduce the price for not having the above stated items. They did give me and extra blanket so I could sleep on the floor. The booking for the double bed was $40 + not worth the difference. The floor had better support. I like to camp so no big deal. Our room was clean. The shower was hot.
