Super 8 Battle Mountain

Front office was hospitable and helpful.

Went to Battle Mt to attend a barrel race. This motel was very clean with a great indoor pool & spa. We really enjoyed the place and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast a little meager, would have liked toast & or danish but all they had were tiny muffins and bagels. Did have a couple of kinds of dry cereal. Room very clean and roomy. TV reception good with WiFi.

This motel pleasantly surprised me in terms of quality, service, and convenience. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. The room was large and spacious. The bed was clean and the bathroom was also very clean. There is free wi-fi, cable, and had a convenient location right off the freeway.

We stayed at this hotel both going and coming back from Lake Tahoe. We picked this hotel because of the high ratings for cleanliness. It did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and spotless. Our suite on the first stay was very nice and had everything we needed. The Front Desk clerks were both very nice and helpful. They provided us with extra pillows, towels and other items I requested. The pool was okay, it seemed clean however I did notice a cockroach walking around. That may have just come in from the open window. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay and the breakfast in the morning was plentiful. Our second stay (on the way home) we were given a suite that appeared to have some water damage. The door would not open all the way or close/lock without being pulled hard. The bathroom had some damage and there were missing hand towels. The clerk was helpful when asked about local eateries and provided the extra pillows I asked for. The tv remotes did not work correctly in either room/suite. The second room, the remote in the bedroom did not work and the one in the sitting room did not bring up cable channels at all with the up/down arrows. Minor points but there wasn't that much to do in the town... ALso, the refrigerator in the second room kept clicking on and off which was somewhat annoying, however the fridge did work. All in all, definitely a place I'll stay at again.

At check-in the clerk was very friendly and personable! She made me feel as if she would do anything to make our stay the best! Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again! The only negitive thing I could say is that the bathroom was a bit "old" and the plumbing squealed when we took hot showers.

front desk was helpful and friendly. overall the motel was clean and presentable. the only complaints are checked above, nasty cigarette smell in the hallways and left over pizza in the fridge.. good location right off freeway. walking distance to fastfood, convenience store, and bar if so inclined..

Nice staff. The only hotel in town and the only room in 200 miles due to mine show in the area. Non-smoking room and entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. Carpet worn and had large holes through to the backing.
