What Can I Say?

It's a Motel 6, OK? I have not stayed at one of these in over a year, but I was told by a client that it was refurbished and a good stay. It had been refurbished maybe a year ago or so. It was a typical Motel 6 in that the carpets are dirty and the best rooms are not on the first floor. The room and bath were clean and as usual, no extras. The bed was lumpy and I woke with a back ache. What can I say? It's an average Motel 6.

Leaky ceiling ruined my sons $300 show h

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, but the rooms?????? We were in town for a horses show, The ceiling leaked right over where you hang your clothes. So all our clothes got soaked and my sons $300 western show hat got ruined. The show started at 7 am and no way to fix it as for stores didn't open till much later. Need to review rooms before renting them out. Beds were very comfortable.

Pretty Good for the price

Staff was very, very nice. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. This was also a pet-friendly place, which is nice to see. Only one thing, they didn't replenish our towels the second day we stayed and had to ask, and they were worried they didn't have enough towels. Overall, you really can't beat this place for the price. If you just need the basics, this is the place.

Unbeatable value!

Great value...Tucumcari is the half-way mark from DFW to Durango so we stop here a lot. CLEAN rooms, comfortable beds. Just remember...no hair dryers available!

animal hair all over sheets and pillows

we were traveling through on our way to the Grand Canyon and stopped in Tucumcari. The beds were small as was the room but the worst thing was the animal hair all over the bedding. We slept on top of the comforters. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Dennys was near by as were other fast food resturants and hotel located close to interstate 40

Clean and Affordable

We were only looking for a place to stay - just somewhere to sleep, really. The hotel was very easy to check into and out of, the staff was nice, and the rooms were very clean. But you in some sense, get what you pay for - the rooms are small, the beds aren't incredibly soft, and the towels are kinda scratchy. The 12PM check out time is really nice - you feel like you can kind of take your time. Our wake up call came twice - a half an hour early the first time, but overall we had no complaints about this place.
