improvement from the last time I stayed
it was better than the last time I stayed there. They did some improvements, new carpets and beds. But it still looked a little run down.

Great place to stop along the way.
Had no problems with the room, a little noisy in the early morning when people were getting up for breakfast. Locked out of room and had no problem getting a replacement key to get me back in.

Days Inn Tucumcari: Outstanding, but....
We arrived to find a full lot, but didn't have to wait at all to get checked in. Having taken care of the matter on [...]eliminated nearly everything. I wasn't asked for anything, but there was one surprise. Nowhere in our information did it say we would be charged for our dog. Although the fee was nominal, it wasn't expected.Nontheless, the Days Inn (Tucumcari) was excellent: Firm mattress, clean room, new fridge and microwave. Good breakfast. A good value for the price
