Money's worth

This Motel 6 is older but comfortable and adequate for my needs. I like being able to park right in front of my door to ease unloading and loading, and I was able to do that thanks to the staff giving me a ground floor room facing the parking area. We had a little trouble with the lock on our room door and the staff let us move into the next room. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.

A clean deal

You're getting what you pay for: a small, clean room to sleep in while you're on your way from one place to another. A bargain for the real travelers out there. Works just fine as a home base to view the Festival of Cranes.

great room for price

The room was clean & neat. The staff was friendly. The price was fantastic for 2 adults, 2 full beds, non-smoking and on the ground floor. Plenty of hot water and the bathroom was very clean. We come to the area at least once a year and we will stay there again.

needs work

Both ice machines were not working. The clerk had received instructions from afar and was valiently trying to reactivate them, but there were still out of commission the next morning. I had to go across the street to the Circle K and buy a bag of ice. The room was hot, but the company had decided it was Winter in Socorro and turned off the AC. The only way to cool down was to leave the door open, letting in quite a few flies. The half of the window that could be opened was blocked by the curtain. I had to disconned the anchor on the curtain to expose the window. I was told that the motel has been bought as a franchise and the new owner would put in individual heat/AC units

Average for a Motel 6

What do you expect? It's a Motel 6! Location is nice, right off the freeway yet not far from downtown and a Walmart. Rooms seemed smaller than your usual Motel 6. Staff was VERY nice! Professional. Made checking in easy. Wifi is extra. Make a reservation, or get there early if you want a first floor room.

The most restless night I've had

Awful! It was the most restless night that I've had in years. The room was so cold they could have stored raw beef in it.

great price!

If you just need a place to crash after a full day of photography at Bosque Del Apache refuge, this is the place. It's located at the southern end of Socorro and access onto Southbound I-25 is great.

Unbeatable deal for the price

Excellent value for the price. I worked this trip, and as a result the hotel was ideal for my bare bones needs. I would stay here again.
