Better than most
We stayed overnight in Socorro in order for my husband to play in a golf tournament early the next morning. Ater researching the limited number of hotels/motels in town I found a really good deal[...]. Our room was nice and clean, and I checked the beds (noted bedbugs in other hotels cited in the reviews, also problems with clean environments). The bed was comfortable and the hotel offered excellent TV channels, better then most. Our breakfast the next morning had a nice selection, more and better than some of the hotels we have stayed in lately. While my husband golfed I tried out the exercise room and watched TV while packing. Check-out as well as check-in where easy and efficient. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again because...it's better than most.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Golf course at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology is outstanding. Also close to the Course is a mineral museum with an interesting and varied collection of N.M. minerals.

Excellent stop for the family
The location was excellent, very close to the freeway and fuel. The rooms were well equipped with a large frig and microwave. The Internet connection was fast, easy and FREE. The complementary breakfast was very good. They had lots of options and the breakfast area was large and comfortable even for our large family.
