Great location
Location was near I-40 Hwy. Staff was very nice. Not the newest place in town, but very comfortable.

Good Location
For the price, you can't beat the Travel Lodge in Santa Rosa. Our room was clean, save for some mold on the bathroom ceiling, and our beds were comfortable.

Short walk from hotel
This Travel Lodge shares its parking lot with a cute Route 66 diner. The food was wonderful and ample, and the prices were very reasonable. After a long day in the car, it was nice to walk to eat!

About right for the price.
We stayed here as we were passing through New Mexico. The room and furniture was older, but clean. Bed was really comfortable. Room was fairly cheap and still included a decent TV and mini fridge. Staff was friendly enough, but the people checking us in appearing to be a 12 or 13 year old boy and possibly his grandmother. They were very nice, just made us feel a little odd to be checked in by a child. Overall, a decent stay for the money.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Route 66 runs through Santa Rosa, so there are several old restaurants and hotels. There is a place called Joseph's that is a must see. Also don't miss the Blue Hole. Popular natural attraction that divers frequent.

Good, clean, convenient
Just needed a place to stay overnight while passing through. Pleasantly surprised, room was clean, staff was friendly. They have 4 large parking spots for big moving-type trucks (which is what we needed).

Light bulbs removed from dual lights to save $, reading not an option.Crumbled morter and trim in bathroom. NO coffee or food on the breakfast bar. It was during the OPEN hours. The motel grounds and outside look very nice.
