The Villas de Santa Fe Rooms

- This one bedroom, one bath sleeps 4 comfortably. This home away from home offers a partial kitchen, fireplace and air conditioning. As well as Wi-Fi in the lobby and units for a fee.

Peaceful and pleasant
Nice to have all that room, no noise in the hallway, the friendly, most helpful staff. This was a suite room, one could opt for daily maid and linen service for an additional fee. I was happy not to be disturbed and made my own bed. Location was close to center, and no congested lobby.

Villas de Santa Fe
I love Villas de Santa Fe and Diamond Resorts more generally--I've stayed at this location several times over the last 3 - 4 years and at another property, too. Generally I find the staff extraordinarily helpful; this time, though, was a bit off the mark--desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the area and a bit resistant to looking up information on local museums, etc. Also, the inflexible check-out time of 11 am (a bit early--most places in town have noon) was also a bit surprising. Perhaps the staff could work on these areas of service. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Long walk from hotel
decent movie theater is nearby, as is a first rate organic grocery and other shopping. Villas de Santa Fe has kitchenettes so the latter is especially good news.

Villas at Santa Fe
It was very nice, quiet and not too far from the square. Would have been nice if they waited to work on the pool on another weekend other than the Santa Fe Chili and Wine Festival. Not much in the way of amenities. Room was clean though fans in bathroom and air conditioning were very loud. Great price for Santa Fe.

Enjoying Santa Fe

Great place to relax
Excellent service and pretty helpful staff. I really enjoyed the van service. This is more family oriented place but it has an excellent location to explore Santa Fe.

Great hotel for the money!
This hotel has location, location, location! The staff is excellent! The shuttle service is awesome. The room is very above average. I would definately return here. Plan to take my husband next time.

Although it is a short distance to the plaza, the shuttle service is excellent. No worries about parking and the staff are prompt with the service.

Villa de Santa Fe review
We have stayed there before when it was "Sunterra", and on balance, enjoyed the place very much. The elevator not functioning on two occasions was a slight minus.

Good Value
The staff was extremely friendly and let us check in early. We found everything we needed in our small kitchen to cook the meals we planned. Our room had all the comforts of home. Couch,flat screen TV,hair & ottoman, table, and comfortable bed. Nice large dressing room seperate from the bathroom. We will stay here next time we are in Santa Fe. The plaza is a few blocks away and a shopping center also within walking distance. Free parking is an extra plus.

A time-share with suites to rent
This time-share property has yet another owner, and they are removing some of the amenities that used to be included. Good pots, pans, dishes and eating implements, but suddenly no napkins...paper towels are only option. Other eliminations such as this mean you have to bring or buy your own if you plan to make use of the full kitchen. Separate rooms in suite decorated in vaguely southwest style are comfortable but need a face-lift.Exercise room on premises. Parking with a pass. A ten minute walk to the Plaza. I used to like it better, but it is still convenient, and an employee helped me with all of my baggage, including groceries, and would not accept a tip for his trouble, which was considerable.
