We were able to change our room to one facing the pool which was very nice.; good customer service. The cupboard drawers were very rough wood so could not put our nice clothes in them. The outlet to the coffee maker was under the table and hard to reach. The bathroom was not cleaned the first night. Room temperature settings superb.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the location is great, close to all the great Santa Fe sites. The national cemetery across the road is one of the nicest I've seen. A good reminder for all of us. the hotel is very quite at night, got a good nights sleep. The only down side would be the beds are hard and the coffee pot in the room is small. Would stay there again.

Relaxing Outdoor Getaway!
The staff were super friendly and most hospitable. The location was close to downtown and easily accessable. The pool was refreshing. If we had it to do over, we would only change reserving a suite rather than a regular room for more space. The hotel was a great value.

Value
This place has gotten some pretty harsh reviews lately but I reserved there anyway. It was value for the price - room was clean and okay enough. Microwaves and refridgerators would make a big difference in the rooms. Bar and restaurant were good and the view from the outdoor patio was nice. The pool was nice and popular. Hot tub and other areas being worked on - it is an older property - so some upkeep is needed. I though the location was good - nice to be away from the plaza after days there. All the staff I met were very friendly! Weather was great - even in July.

Clean and in close proximity of plaza
I stayed in one of the rooms further from the lobby. The internet access was non-existant in that back part; I believe they either didn't have a router back there, or they didnt want to fix the one that was there. Their business center was out of service also, which was really inconvenient. The property itself was charming, and clean. They were very accommodating at picking us up at the train station, but depending on which desk agent was working, policies varied for the transportation, as they wouldnt bring us back. the shuttle is only supposed to run on a loop to the santa fe plaza and back, every hour on the hour, so that was fine. I wouldn't reccommend seeing the seasonal flamenco show put on by a theatre company not affiliated with the hotel, but is shown in the hotel's theatre space. It was OK, but nothing to write home about, and the apps were very sub-par for what they charged. Overall, it's a convenient spot if you want to do some shopping in the plaza. I would stay there again.

My retirement vacation
The front desk was friendly and helped as much as they could. Shuttles service was very good. Housekeeping well, that is another thing, we had to leave notes to get the basics like wash clothes, bath towels ect . Our ice bucket was left with water and no liner was left

Great Place to Stay
The hotel was terrific with the exception of the comfort of the bed. That left little to be desired. Everything else was great and the atmosphere of the room and hotel was wonderful.

Get it in writing
The hotel was clean and well-maintained and the room was nice. It was a great location and a great Santa fe experience. My only problem was that I specifically chose the room and the rate based on the free breakfast. When I asked about it they said that unless I had it in writing on my confirmation sheet, they wouldn't give me the voucher for breakfast. We were very unhappy about that. Also the listing said that there was a refrigerator and a microwave - there was neither.

Short walk from hotel
Just about a one-mile walk from the Lodge was old towne Santa Fe. This had many shops, museums and places to eat. Also the Cathedral was in the same area. Plan to spend a few hours exploring the area, but it seemed like everything was closed by 5p.
