Sante Fe trip

Nice hotel, needs some renewing. Comfortable, friendly staff. Kinda quiet. No breakfast unless in restaurant, which was expensive. Could have had some coffee in the morning.

Nice place

For the price it was average. It is a nice comfortable hotel in a good location. There is a shuttle from the hotel to the downtown, which is nice when you go out drinking.

nice place

Most of the hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel restaurant's food was only so-so, and the wait people seemed crabby. The location of the hotel was perfect, and the ability to use the hotel shuttle was valuable.

Good value

Good value overall. Convenient location. Cleaning staff had missed a used washrag that we found in the bathroom.

Location and Convience

We chose this hotel because it gave easy access to the things we wanted to do: attend the Santa Fe Opera, tour Canyon Road and Old Town. A bonus was their free shuttle to Old Town. The Lodge provided a nice breakfast buffet, restaurant and bar. Their restaurant balcony overlooked the Santa Fe Memorial Cemetery and distant mountains. Lovely. The Lodge was also a destination place for weekend entertainment and business conferences.

Santa Fe

There were a lot of weddings at this hotel the weekend we stayed. So staff were very busy and service was a bit slow. Hot tub was not hot enough. Parking was not easy due to weddings and there was a flamenco show at the hotel as well.

Spacious, well-kept, convenient, great value.

This was my second time at The Lodge. It is on St. Francis perhaps 1 mile or a 20 min. walk from town. I liked being outside the busyness of Santa Fe. It was easy to drive anywhere. The room, ground floor, was quiet, huge, southwestern style. View to the mtns. with large window and flower garden right outside. Pool and fitness also there, did not use. Staff was always helpful and the breakfast (French Toast with caramelized bananas) was fab. The rate was below $100. Cannot match that for these facilities.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Some of the best restaurants are NOT in the larger touristy hotels in Santa Fe but on the edge.
