Excellent location-but...

This hotel is very well located at 1 1/2 blocks from the Plaza. The amenities in the room were very good and the room was well decorated and well maintained. The included buffet breakfast was very adequate but got boring after 2 days. Common areas were well done but not very extensive. The pool was small and in a very constrained area. I was very disappointed with this hotel because it had the aspect of a remodeled and updated Travelodge and did not have the special ambiance, style or amenities which would justify the price.

Great people, location and service.

Good downtown location only a couple of blocks from the plaza. Super buffet breakfast included in room rate. Had dinner both nights in hotel bar which is a popular after-work location for people living in Santa Fe. Better than typical bar food. Front desk people were very helpful with directions and recommendations. We did the walking tour and also the trolly tour reserved by the desk with pick-up out front.

Don't miss the native Americans displaying and selling their wares at the Plaza. Also walking after dark in the downtown area is supposed to be very safe.

Cozy, comfortable, affordable and clean.

This hotel was the best value we have encountered in our travels. The staff was helpful in providing directions, making dinner reservations and suggestions on places to visit. The restaurant on site offered a great value for a delicious meal. We ate lunch there everyday. Breakfast was provided and offered a variety of things that were quite good. The best was the afternoon tea and sherry. We tried not to miss that while there. Will definitely return and recommmend.
