Cute Hotel, Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Chimayo, and would stay there again. The positives are the location, which couldn't be better - located just a half bock off the main Plaza, the price - very fair, the décor and ambiance are fun, and cleaning staff does a very thorough job. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I reserved a room with two double beds, and in spite of calling to confirm our reservation two days before our arrival, we ended up with one king-sized bed, which resulted in a less-than-restful sleep during the three nights my daughter and I were there. Because the hotel was full, it could not be changed. The hotel did reverse the $16.00/night parking charge for our inconvenience. Internet service is also very unreliable.

Hotel Chimayo in December

Staff was friendly ,helpful and made our stay feel very special. From check in, to help with luggage, to restaurant staff, to bartender - everyone went above and beyond our expectations. They even lit the fire in our fire place to add to the ambiance.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The Peyton Wright Gallery and Imagination (?) Gallery featuring the works of Vladimir Kush were our two favorite places. Both surprised and delighted us.

Great Santa Fe Stay

This hotel was in a great location for visiting The Plaza. Although it is right in the center of lots of sights and activities, it was quiet and restful. Underground parking was excellent. The hotel staff was 5 star, very helpful and welcoming.

Hotel Plaza Real

The hotel is about a block from the Plaza therefore convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc. Garage below hotel also most convenient for easy in and out access. The only complaint was that for the three days we were there, the staff continuously gave us 2 sets of bath towels and products while there were 3 of us so we reminded them daily. Otherwise, perfect.
