Dining

Tia's Cocina Authentic New Mexican Food
Tia's Cocina (My Aunt's Kitchen) is a quaint gathering place where family and friends can experience simple dishes with the rich flavors of authentic New Mexican home cooking. Renowned Chef Estevan Garcia, a Santa Fe native, prepares the indigenous Northern New Mexican foods of Hispanic settlements like the Village of Chimayo that he originally learned from his Abuela (Grandmother). This menu originates from recipes enjoyed by New Mexican families for hundreds of years. Families in Chimayo contributed to this authentic menu with their own family recipes handed down from generations. For other select items, Chef Estevan provides a modern twist on the traditional. Tia's Cocina is honored to serve authentic heirloom Chimayo chile known for it's robust flavor grown in Chimayo, New Mexico and exclusively for Tia's Cocina.
Santa Fe Low 'n Slow Lowrider Bar
Inspired by Jack Parson and Carmella Padilla's book, "Low 'n Slow - Lowriding in New Mexico," this hotel bar and lounge is an ideal spot for food and drinks. Surround yourself with lowrider style, where artistic cultural elements including diamond-tuck upholstered seats, hub caps, creative photos and tables made of chromed chain-link steering wheels decorate the outdoor patio and indoor dining area. Specialty cocktails crafted by our professional mixologists paired with creative dishes create an unforgettable experience.

Charming

I loved that each room opens to a shared long courtyard, decorated with strings of dried red peppers. Classial music was playing in the lobby, giving it a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed a real fire (not gas) in the sitting room of my suite.

Very Nice

We loved this hotel. We enjoyed the courtyard and the front porch. The Jr. Suites are very nice. The staff was nice and helpful. The cold moist towel at check in was very refreshing. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the fresh lemon water that they had out everyday.

B&B Charm, Hotel style

Room felt like a Bed and Breakfast - doors on either end, one opening into inner courtyard, the other onto the front porch of the hotel. The only downside was some of the bedding and draperies were very worn.

Hanging out in Santa Fe

The hotel is located in the heart of the city where world class shopping and restaurants are just a short walk away. Very nice to shop, swing by your room and rest an hour or two and step out your hotel door and pick up where you left off. The staff knows all the best restaurants, so just ask!

Coyote Cafe is the right dinner spot while the Thunderbird on the square is great for lunch.
