Nice stay
Room not as large or otherwise nice as I expected for the very high price. Parking charge exorbitant. Swimming pool tiny. Exercise room small. Restaurant food good, and reasonably priced. Consistently excellent service from everyone. 5-minute walk from the plaza is nice; but for a 10-minute walk, we could have stayed in a very nice place for at least $100 a night less.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Instead of paying $22 a night for parking, pay $10 per night in the city garage catty-corner from the hotel (which the desk person told me about when I asked).

Wedding Anniversary Getaway
Very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The spa was fantastic! Food served at the hotel was above average and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience as well as room service. The only thing lacking was atmosphere. The lobby area was not as cozy and charming as many of the other hotels in Santa Fe. Fireplaces were never burning other than the one in the dining room in the evening. The hotel was rather chilly in the lobby and it would have been nice to be welcomed by a warm fire. FYI:you could have hung meat in the elevators.

Presents what's advertised, but nothing special
Great location. Their dining room is best for breakfast. Too big a place for Santa Fe. Not intimate. They have some work to do to live up to what people would expect from a prestige / preferred hotel. Good experience with the concierge.

5 star attitude, 2 star Amenities
This hotel has 5 star attitude and only 2 star Amenities. Our room was worn and was in desperate need of renovation. The carpet smelled of stale beer, the walls had multiple patches each painted w/ a slightly different color paint, etc. Our “deluxe” room included 2 small double beds. It certainly wasn’t worth the hype (in addition, be prepared to add on $32/day for parking & WiFi). The hotel has a nice location and I’m sure it was very nice 30 years ago. I will not stay here again.

Fall escape
We arrived late , the room was still held for us which was great. The room was better than described online. King bed , sofa sleeper, really good location. The staff was great. The restaurant was fabulous. Some places in the room could use fresh paint, but the room was very clean and comfortable.

In Hotel
We tend to avoid hotel restaurants in favor of places where the locals go. But the kitchen in the hotel restaurant is putting out great food. We had a snack, a breakfast, and a superb dinner there,

Intimate time in Santa Fe
This is a 4 star worth it! The staff and service was more than professional. Even with it's size, the feeling is of an intimate hotel. Great location to square, shops, restaurants, museums and galleries. The spa facilities small but indeed a treat and dinner at "The Old House" within the hotel was a relaxing dining experience.

The Burro Cafe (one block away) for incredible home made pastries, excellent coffee and eggs done to request; friendly staff. Across street from back of hotel "O'Keeffe Cafe" romantic, quiet dining. Salmon and chocolate delight desert was a hit!

This is a fabulous hotel located
This is a fabulous hotel located very centrally in the very beautiful town of Santa Fe. We had a Deluxe King room and it was just great. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and quite reasonably priced. You can walk to just about anything in the central part of town and there is so much to see. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Long walk from hotel
Go to the great restaurants on Canyon Drive, especially Geronminos. Less congestion, better food, amidst great art work and upscale people without the snootiness. Lots of beautiful art surpirses.
