Lover of Southwest
Surprisingly Good!
Hadn't stayed here before, but after reading reviews, thought I'd give it a try. It was really good. Staff very friendly and helpful; the room was nice size and much nicer than the Santa Fe Sage Inn, great beds, funky, art deco type bathroom and a refrig to boot. The price was great as well--I paid $40 LESS per night than at the Sage Inn. The only suggestion I have is to make the lobby more appealing and have a computer for guests to use if you don't have your own computer.

The India Restaurant next door is great! Don't go to the Souper/Salad across the street--very dirty. We walked in and out.

Not Quite What I Expected
I was traveling on business. The room was VERY small and the hotel was in need of repairs. My room was "highway view" and extremely noisy at all hours on a very busy road. When I arrived, I was supposed to have a microwave in the room. There was not one. I went back down to the desk and was told that they would take care of it the next day which they did late in the afternoon but was very inconvenient to be without it for a whole day. The power went out twice in the first 24 hours, the pool was nice but not quite like it was pictured. The pictures must have been a number of years old. What they say is a GOURMET continental breakfast is nothing special. Bagels, cold cereal, kashi, fruit and juice or coffee. I would definitely stay elsewhere personally if I return to Santa Fe.

If you are visiting the Santa Fe and want to spend time at the Plaza - a main attraction area and shopping, it would be a good idea to stay within walking distance as driving and parking are extremely difficult and expensive in the area.

Good place to stay in Santa Fe
I stayed at the hotel for several days while on vacation. It's very comfortable, with great continental breakfast, very nice pool, and beautiful landscaping. Not at all noisy.

A quiet place to rest.
I enjoyed a rest between business trips. The location is ideal for Santa Fe and surrounding area. The pool is clean and hot tub relaxing. The grounds are well cared for and they make the most of their space with several types of flowers. It is a great deal for the price. I will come back again.
