Small Hotel
Stayed one night spent most of the time in casino. Our room was not available but the staff worked to get us a non smoking room, the entire hotel smelled of smoke for someone with allergies this was not good. They also said there was a breakfast buffet included in our package, we did not get a buffet but we did get a breakfast that included eggs sausage, toast and hash browns, and juice or coffee. Also this hotel does not have Queen size beds they are only double beds.

Fun weekend for my daughter and me
Was a short stay, but the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Great shower, but what I really liked was the pillows on the bed. Wish I had them at home.

pergfect location for sightseeing
The location was perfect. We went to Taos Pueblo, Chimayo, Bandalier National Monument, Los Alamos, and toured Santa Fe all within easy and short driving distances. The price was good for the area and allowed us to be in the center of our sightseeing tour. The only thing missing at the hotel was something besides the pool for teenagers to do(bowling, arcade games) while we enjoyed the casino. I would recommend the hotel for travelers wanting to see that area without paying high prices and doing alot of extra driving. Bobbye Horton

Good, not great.
The hotel was easy to find. There was a strong wind, so no one used the outdoor pool which was disappointing. The room was clean, roomy, and quiet. We were grateful that the room didn't smell smoky though the casino was awful in this regard. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel for two meals. The food was good but the service both times was slow and it appears the whole casino/hotel might be understaffed right now. Check in was laborious with only one desk person. There were four parties waiting in line at one point. The check in person, thus, was abrupt and not friendly. The wifi worked great.

My review of Ohkay Casino Resort
Our stay at this hotel, Okhay, was just that ok. Checkin was very bumpy, as room was not ready by 3pm checkin. then, after getting checked in and settled into the room, we were asked to move to accommodate another guest. We did move and the other room was not as nice as the first, air conditioning not good. We dealt with it since we did not want to spend all night moving. Other than that the staff were courteous, accomodations were sufficent for an overnight stay. The resturant inside the hotel was ok too the food seemed a little bland. On a scale from 1- 10, I would rate our stay as a 5.
