The Comfort Inn Midtown sits in the middle of Ruidoso's Midtown Shopping District, with easy walking access to restaurants, shops, galleries and lounges. Television did not work one day, need more personnel
The people are nice, nostly mescalero indians quite by nature but once they get cobfiudebce they are communicative. our t.v. was off one night and there was no one to fix it, only the receptionist and she claimed she could not leave the front desk, no help with the luggage. it is more geared at sprng breakers who do not care about service and ammenities. breakfast was good.

Beautiful Location
For the price its a great deal. Right down town in the middle of everything. GREAT STAFF! couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Room overall is nice, not great but comfortable.

Nice and Comfortable
Have property in Ruidoso and needed to check on it so we stayed at the Comfort Inn and it was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and informative. Breakfast was the standard but met our needs quite well. The king sized bed and the view out the back of the hotel were nice! Enjoyed our brief stay and would stay there again

Ruidoso hotel stay
I was there for a convention, so having breakfast there was great. But the paper plate's made the food go cold fast. But it was free, so it's a give/take thing. Good coffee & juice. Plus the staff was good on any ?'s I had on place's to eat or the town it's self.

Great Location
Hotel is listed as pet friendly, but only for service animals. The location is great. Within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Ruidoso Midtown. I would stay here again but don't bring your pet.

Weekend Ski Traveler
Great location for downtown shopping
The hotel was clean and close to downtown shopping and the local hangouts, checkin time was 1:00 pm which was great. My husband was very disappointed that there was no in room "pay for view" movies and the TV channels were limited.

drinking staff
lukewarm shower, sofa bed springs broken and had to ask for sheets then onky given 1 sheet and one blanket, staff appeared to have been drinking judging from the empty beer bottles behind the desk, room key would not open side doors(other guests had same problem).
