Good price, but the rooms were pretty dirty. The whole place smelled of cigerette smoke. Pool and hot tub were good but hot tube broke on the last night we were there. overall you get what you pay for.

Not so SUPER
We took our kids to Roswell for spring break '11. Took in Carlsbad Caverns, Alien Museum, zoo, etc. Trip would have been perfect if not for the Super 8 Motel experience. Room was "at best" o-k. Room reserved was for three adults and two small children. There were two bath towels in the room. Man at the front desk was very un-friendly, and acted extremely put-out when we asked for three more bath towels. Asked "again" how many were in our party and said he would make a note that we requested more towels. After maid service the next day, again we had only two towels. Same man at front desk at first refused to provide more towels. The indoor swimming pool....murky water. YUK! I don't believe the hotel owned a vacuum cleaner. NO amenities provided in the bathroom other than towels, washcloths, and toilet paper. After trying to obtain soap at the front desk, we ended up going about 3 blocks to a Walmart and buying some bath soap. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Needs to "iron" out wrinkles
It was ok. Just don't expect to use the iron. Theres only one in the hotel. It and the ironing board are chained down near the lobby. Other than that, the hotel was average.

Clean, Comfortable and Pleasant
We took a road trip from Houston to San Francisco and stopped at Roswell for one night. The Super 8 was everything we needed. Good location, nice clean comfortable warm bed. Super clean bathroom with piping hot showers. Only thing I could fault was the breakfast which was as described (toast, coffee, juice and cereal) but could have included a bagel or pastry.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Portofinos Italian Restaurant (701 S Main St, Roswell, NM 88203) was a good cheap eat for dinner. We walked in at 8.45PM and even though they close at 9pm they gave us a warm welcome and made us a delicious meal.

At least there was a pool..
Well to start this Hotel has not been updated in probably over a decade. The pictures on the web site did not match watch I received, neither did my confirmation. I have had better service at a Taco Bell drive thru. I was dissapointed expecially for the $80/night fee. I even had to slam and pull my door up to make it shut securely. It was no surprise I was the only car parked outside when I arrived. Thankfully my kids enjoyed the tiny pool that was there.

Not bad for the price i guess
Loved the location most of all! Next to Mall, Walmart, Restaurants, Gas station, ect. We recommend eating at the Golden Corral if you want variety of good food all you can eat for a good price. The Ribs were great at the Snazzy Pig but lousy sides, it was not a sit down and get served type of place..nothing like we thought it would be. The hotel was ok for the price..cant complain about that but we didnt have a micro or fridge so be sure you get a room with it if you plan on staying a few days. Bed was a little hard, not soft like most super 8 motels..this place is a bit older but clean, maids are very nice but they threw my medication away i had sitting on the night stand. Over all..worth the price.

Short drive from hotel
Golden Corral Buffet, Movie Theater only 6 bucks, UFO Zone is better than the UFO Museum by far for pictures. Small Town..a bit over rated..but it was ok. Carlsbad is worth going to!! GO TO THE CAVERNS!! It was by far the best outing there near by. Just dont eat at the Fiesta in Carlsbad food sucks!
