BEST WESTERN PLUS Sally Port Inn & Suites

1970's style hotel that has not been updated. Personel at desk not very helpful. Had a second floor room and were never told that there was no elevator. Breakfast eggs terrible, but bacon was good. When returning the key, we had to wait for the clerk to finish her personal conversation with the housekeeper before getting to me.

Updated hotel but needs an elevator to be considered a 4 star. Otherwise, firmly a 3 star. Breakfast was very good (more or less a full breakfast setting with bacon, sausage, eggs, and waffles)

Great location by NMMI. We could walk to campus and restaurants. We liked the pool and having access to the business center with computers.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous! The employees were extremely friendly and the breakfast was good. I couldn't help but notice though that their display cases had dust so thick that you could barely read what was in them. Also, one would think that an indoor pool would be...what's the word...HEATED!!!! Just saying. Other than that, it was pretty nice.

Best Western Plus Sally Port Inn & Suites were just as they were described! I'm not clear as to why it gets 3 stars, I give it 41/2. The hotel was CLEAN, the staff was friendly and courteous. In fact everyone in Roswell was friendly and courteous! The room was spacious and comfortable with newer furniture, refrigerator and a flat screen TV. We arrived early on Sunday morning and the helpful staff allowed us to check in early. The hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes, which was nice but not every morning for the five days we stayed but is was a good hot breakfast nonetheless. On our first night there the air conditioner failed. Within minutes of calling the front desk we were moved to a new room. Spot on service! Nice pool although somewhat small, it served the purpose to refresh after a hot New Mexico summer day. The hot tub spa was nice and comfortable. The pool and workout areas were clean and tidy but NO SUPERVISION, bear that in mind if you have kids with you, you have to watch them. This hotel is centrally located on Main Street with any and everything needed just minutes by car and most top chain restaurants are a short walk. Rest assured when you choose this hotel, the staff will go out of their way to assist you with anything they possibly can to help to eliminate your problem. For the money and the amount of time we spent here we considered it top value and would certainly stay here again.

The breakfast was great. Our room was a fairly hot and when we called to let them know that the temperature in the room was 84 degrees they immediately switched our room. The staff was excellent. The hotel was very near the UFO Festival Events.

Hotel was newly renovated, and was much nicer then I expected. Nice and clean everything. I would definitely say for the price it has to be one of the better places to stay in Roswell. I will definitely be staying there again.

For the price, this place is great. The pillow top mattresses are great, rooms clean, and nice flat screen tv. I have paid much more for much less. Great full breakfast.

The motel appeared to be at the very tail end of a thorough remodel - new carpeting, fresh paint, new furniture in the room, modern TVs, new bathroom fixtures. The room was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. The only concern I had with respect to a return visit is that I saw a lot of guests with dogs, and I do hope that there are specific rooms in which pets are allowed and that I am automatically assigned a room that has not had pets staying in it.
