The Ramada Palms de Las Cruces is well-named for the over 200 palm trees that surround the hotel. That is just the beginning of the delightful features that await you at the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces. Visitors to the Las Cruces area find our hotel is well-located for visits to New Mexico State University, which is just across University Avenue, and the White Sands Missile Range and National Monument are just a few miles away.

The city of Las Cruces also offers a wonderful variety of attractions that are all within a mile or two of the Ramada Palms hotel. Our guests enjoy exploring Historic Old Mesilla for a taste and feel of Old Mexico, and it is conveniently located just two miles from the hotel. Area museums such as the Historical Lawmen Museum or the Space Mural Museum, monuments like the Bataan Death March Monument, the Farmers and Crafts Market, and more are all within reach. If golf is your passion, we have 4 courses that are no further than 8 miles distant.

Yet, the best reason to enjoy a stay at the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces, is the hotel itself. As you enter our lobby for the first time, you realize that you have entered a city unto itself. Southwestern ambience is all around you as you discover the lush interior courtyard with separate pools for adults and small children, the wonderful Sabor Restaurant and Bar which features Mexican and Amercan favorites & complimentary continental breakfast for all guests, the variety of shops on our promenade, and The BAR, you realize that an entire village has opened up before your eyes.

Our promenade includes Michael's Ace Hair Studio - a full service salon for nails and hair with a masseuse and Esthetician available, as well. Near Michael's are the wonderfully exotic gifts featured at Artemis Decorative Arts. Lucas Pipe and Tobacco newsstand has one of the areas most complete and finest humidors, and Las Cruces Shuttle Service will get you where you need to be. Turn left around the corner from the promena

Excellet Hotel Stay

The hotel is in a great location for doing other activities in Las Cruces and is right off the I-10 interstate. Hotel let us check in early and the person at the front desk, Cody, helped us locating destinations in the city where we were going. Cody helped us throughout our stay. I have stayed in this hotel a few times before when it was the Holiday Inn, but Ramada has done a good job in managing it.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Make sure you go to the village of Mesilla and have a meal at the La Posta Restaurant. I first went to the La Posta in 1964 and have been back there many times. It serves great Mexican food and is a part of history of the West.

falling apart

Our first room started leaking from the bathroom ceiling and the sink would not drain. The staff moved us to another similar room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Our third room was really nice, very clean and not as old seeming as the first two. The breakfast was adequate, the coffe was bad. We ate dinner there the first night, the food was good but overpriced.

Veteran road trip

I stayed here with a group of Navy Vet friends from 45 yrs ago. We were well treated, enjoyed our rooms, breakfast and cordiality of the staff. I would certainly stay here again.

Ramada Las Cruces Hotel

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast bar was average, but the staff who monitored the area were very courteous. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Appealing hotel

This was a home place to stay for a week. It is not new, but is in no way shabby. My bed was comfortable, the sheets and comforter were perfect. The restaurant bar was good. The price was half of what I expected to pay.

Stop on the road

Stayed here during a return road trip from CA to FL. Stayed in one of the pet friendly rooms which had two doors. One that led to the hall and one that allowed access to the outside. Very convenient. Staff was friendly, room was clean and the location was perfect with plenty of restaurants and a Starbucks nearby. In addition it was right off the 10 freeway - perfect for road travelers. After a horrible stay at a nearby La Quinta on the way to FL this was a refreshing change and restored my faith in Las Cruces as a good stopping point on a long distance road trip.

Construction work at 1 am

I usually shy away from Ramada, but I'd seen some decent reviews, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I shouldn't have. The carpet in the room was pulling up, so we had to shove the doors open to get in. We were a little stuffy in the room and set the thermostat to 70, but the temperature stayed at 75. Last but not least, they seemed fine with having construction work done on the room next to us at 1 am. I called the front desk to inquire, and the response was, "they should be on their way out now" - and 15 minutes later, they left. The manager was helpful afterwards, but it's not worth it.

What a Gem!!!

We could not believe what we got for the money! We usually stay at 4 star hotels and this definitely rivals some of our best stays. The hotel was priced as a modest room. The decor of the lobby, restaurant, and bar are top-notch. The room is beautiful, stocked with supplies, clean, and comfortable. We felt safe and pampered. The free breakfast was much more than a continental breakfast... they had hot food included. The staff was friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. Highly recommend this hotel! Very worth the money!

Good Stay

I was a little apprehensive since this facility is a Ramada. Once I entered, I was excited by the layout of the hotel. It has an interior courtyard that houses the check-in desk, pool, lounge, bar and dinning. The ring of interior rooms face this courtyard. The outside rooms open to the outside. I had a room on the inside, second floor overlooking the check-in area. My room was nice, roomy and clean. You could tell the facility had some age, but it was well taken care of. The breakfast was good and suited my needs. I personally fell the dinner menu could use a little help. I was able to sleep soundly at night (which is most important). I would stay again. I was there on business and I usually look for inexpensive options. This one was a success.
