La Quinta Inn Las Cruces Mesilla Valley

Great play to stay for the money. Nice, large room. Good location. Comfortable stay.

About 8:30 pm my daughter went to take a shower and there was mud in the water. We had to be in court the following morning so it was kind of important. Apparently the city had a problem. I requested a down stairs room because am handicapped and was told none was availlable, but it seemed really slow. I was the only vehicle parked in the back parking lot. Asked about a refund because of the water issue and was told no.

This was the fourth time I've stayed at this hotel and will continue to use it on my trips from Austin to LA Attentive and friendly staff

We were there to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had a wonderful time. The staff was great and very accomadating. I didn't think anything was missing. It was a very nice stay.

Clean and comfortable. Loved the town and area.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Convieniant access to I-10. Nice outdoor pool. Strong AC. Cons: Pool closes after dusk because of no lighting. Continental breakfast was very limited. Very small bathrooms. The sink was in the bathroom making it impossible to get ready in the morning if the bathroom was "occupied". It's tough to complain when the price was only $53 per night for 2 double beds.

Traveling through while on my way home. Arrived around 10 pm. The front desk was vacant and the security gaurd told me the personel would be right back. Waited around 5 min before a another employee walked in and talked to security gaurd. The front desk attendant walked by and told the other employee to clock in and help me. He proceeded to screw up my check in for another 15-20 min while the other attendant check in two people. It was horrible. Not to mention the room was old with burn holes in the non smoking room..

For the price, this was the best hotel I've stayed at in a very long time. The hotel was close to Mesilla, an interesting and historic town, and was a convenient location overall. The room was nice, clean, and the hotel lobby and grounds were very nice. The only drawback was the swimming pool. It had a very smalll deck, and was not posh, but if you have kids that want to swim, it was good enough.

My husband and I were in Las Cruces for some family business and choose to stay at this La Quinta because of the decent rating it received. The staff was very friendly and did whatever we needed to be comfortable. The problem was the smoking. The first room we were in smelled so strongly of smoke, it gave us both headaches and we were in a non-smoking room. We asked to move which they did, but we could still smell the smoke in the hallway. The breakfast was good with the normal waffles, muffins and cold bagels. I was expecting a bit more for what I paid for.
