Fantastic Getaway

This was the first time I have ever booked a room on my own. The staff at the Days Inn were very nice and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

do not stay at this hotel

The "Cable" tv had only half the channels maybe less. once we walked in the room it smelled like poop and the next day after house cleaning came it smelled like poop. bugs were also crawling on the floor. bathroom was nice an pool was nice. they do not enforce any alcohol or no glass allowed rules by the pool. the hot tub wasn't on and looks like it will not be on and has green water in it. the door handles are hard to open like all of them especially the pool. they make you pay for breakfast. it was too far from campus too. Never staying here again thats for sure.

Conveniently Located

Needed a room for two nights while on way to pick up a travel trailer. It was nice that it was located right next to a Cracker barrell and wal-mart. It wasn't that quiet at night when we where ther, not sure what was going on, but just seemed like a lot of movement. Good location and all staff was very helpful.

Nice staff, bad room

This hotel needs some TLC. The room was BAD. There was a hole in the ceiling right above the bed. A big one. It smelled of mildew. The worst part, our shower was covered in ants! Wont be staying there again. EVER!

OK for price

OK for an inexpensive room. Fixtures were somewhat beat up. Not as clean as it might have been. But quiet, and we slept well.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

A short 12 block drive into Old Mesilla, the "Thai Delight de Mesilla" was excellent. They haven't dummied down the spicing. Very good Panang curry and phad kee mao. A great alternative to Mexican or mega-beef, as tasty as they are.

in town for the sr olympics

came into town for the sr olympices The AC units are old and need to be replaced. They over heat and shut off so then you switch to fan and then that stops and you switch back and forth. This makes a hot room and being in las Cruces the end of July is hot itself at that time of year. In the reviews before people were complaining about the AC so I guess the management doesn't want to do anything about it. The doors to the rooms stick and yu have to pull them really hard to shut them. So it makes a loud rattle for the next room.
