Delightful

I booked this motel after reading reviews online. This place is delightful! It's family run and they are so ready to assure you have a pleasant stay. It's a welcome surprise from your standard chain motels, much more personal. The gardens surrounding the pool are amazing. There are all kinds of plants growing, a koi pond and even some turtles live there. The price was so affordable, the location was fine and I will definitely stay there again. Bring your own hairdryer, though.

I would not recommend the diner next to the hotel, pricey and greasy.

Better than I expected

Extremely Friendly! Owner showed me to my room. His kids had gone ahead of us, turned on TV & Lights. Later, the kids brought me chips & Salsa Older hotel, but comfortable. Didn't care for the breakfast. Anyone who is gluten intolerate would not enjoy it.

A Little Gem out of the way

Very friendly and helpful Inn keeper and his wife. An older hotel slowly on the up swing. Large rooms, comfortable bed, sheets towels the works all clean and fresh. Early morning breakfast adequate but not overboard, cereal, toast, coffee juice etc. A desert garden with a pool, gazebos and bar be cue areas. It is not fancy but it is a great deal for the price ,

An oasis for the weary business traveler

This was my first trip to Las Cruces. America's Best Value Inn is within close proximity to many local businesses and conveniences (Walgreen's is just down the street). It is the most aesthetically pleasing motel on Picacho Ave. without a doubt. The room was spacious, spotless and had a microwave oven in addition to the usual mini fridge! The inner courtyard was a relaxing environment with beautiful plants. This is my go-to place for future business trips to Las Cruces.

Major standout in this chain

This hotel was massively renovated in 2008 by a couple who really seems personally invested in making the place nice, not just up to code. Checking in the owner offered complimentary sodas, then walked us back to the room to show us around and make sure we were satisfied. The gardens were not in bloom due to the season, but clearly a lot of work had gone into them...NOT something I expect to see at an America's! The owner pointed out a solid BBQ spot just down the road for dinner. That night they brought complimentary chips and salsa. The next morning the breakfast spread included waffles, cereal, and muffins with juices, milk and coffee. Everyone was friendly, but not to the annoying I-need-to-sleep point at all. I really hope their hotel does well and would stay there again in a heart beat.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

There is a great ice cream place just down the way with huge brownie sundaes. Saturday morning, despite being December, there was a fantastic farmer's market a bit further down.
