OOPS!
Staff was nice, room was adequate, but the "OOPS" is because there apparently was a booking error between Orbitz and Day's Inn. We had to take a "smoking room" when I specifically requested a NON-smoking room. Because of the Navajo Nation Fair in Window Rock, they had NO NON-smoking rooms to give us. We had to take the room because EVERY other motel was also booked solid. The staff was as nice as they could be explaining the error, we were as understanding as we could be, under the circumstances, and other than our clothes smelling of smoke when we left, it was an "OK" experience

Horrible experience
The Staff was very rude, the bathroom was filthy! There was a bunch of hair, dirt and a used toothpick by the toilet paper roll. Stains on the blankets. The walls looked like they had been painted over numerous times to the point that the doors would stick when you closed them.

Alright
Bed was comfy, sheets smelled a bit of cigarette smoke, although the room didn't smell like cigarette smoke. It was clean but the rooms were not in definitely in top shape. The pool was outdoors and ok, no immaculate or clean. No hot tubs. It's great if you're traveling and just stopping for the night. Breakfast was mediocre, just cereal, muffins and juice.

Good motel for the price
The location was good, however it was next to a train track. Nothing special about the place except the price.

Orbitz overcharged me nearly $40.00.
All hotels on this road were charging $39.00. Orbitz provided a nonrefundable "deal" at $55. The hotel manager said Orbitz forbids him from reimbursing me the balance of what they were charging EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER. I'm filing a complaint with Orbitz and requesting a refund. If they treat me fairly, I'll consider this a mistake, but if it's the policy to offer "15% below normal rate," and then charge me nearly 25% more and make refunds impossible, that's a great reason to never use Orbitz again. I'm really angry because I got two rooms and my friends were overcharged as well, and I had to explain to them that the manager and Orbitz refused to help us out.

Call directly rather than using Orbitz, especially if you're tempted to use the "nonrefundable web deal." You're likely to get a better rate.

Gallup Confusion!
We booked the hotel thru Orbitz about 10 minutes before we arrived at the hotel. The operator I spoke with was not American; I had the most difficult time understanding her & getting her to understand me! When it was over, she gave me one confirmation number only. When I presented my confirmation to the hotel, they were unable to recognize it. After traveling to another Days Inn to check the same confirmation number, approx. 30 minutes, and 3 or 4 operators later, I learned that the original operator FAILED to provide me with the confirmation number for MY HOTEL, and she DID NOT tell us that confirmations are 24 hours in advance. I told her that we were 10 minutes away from the hotel! WHAT A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! And then the room was horrible, but we were so stressed out & tired, we stayed there anyway!

Filthy
This was by far, the dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in. The crud was built up in the corners of the bathroom, the tile was missing and also broken around the toilet. We left one day early. To cancel the second day would of cost us more than the room was in the first place. So we just left. At check in, there was nobody there that could check us in, so we had to wait until somebody arrived. Also, the codes to get on the internet were not clear, and when I asked at the front desk, the lady there knew nothing about it.
