Run down

It felt old and run down. Our room was suppose to be non smoking but I'm not sure that existed. We would not go back.

Horrible Vacation

Check in late on our arrival day so we put the do not disturb on the door. The made ignored that and came in anyways, one of us was undressed and getting in the shower. Talk about an awkward moment. So called the desk let them know that and their reply was she probably doesn't speak any English. What does that have do with the sigh pretty common thing at ALL hotels. So I informed the desk that we wouldn't be needing maid service for that day. So we left for our day and upon our return that evening our room door was wide open and the maid had obviously had been their. So anyone wanted to come in our room and help their self to whatever they wanted. At the time nothing seemed to be missing. Didn't find out until our return home of some missing items. So to help with the inconvenience they offered us dinner in the restaurant on site, Wish we would have ask for something else. The service was horrible to say the least. After finally getting our drinks we informed the waitress we were ready ton order she disappeared for 15 minutes before returning to take our order. Then since we only had to pay for drinks we despite the poor service decided to give a good tip. Since she didn't provide us with a pen to sigh the receipt my wife used hers. And upon her return she made a big deal about her pen the one she didn't give us and said she knows she had two and went as far as trying to rip the pen out of my wife's hand..So you would think that would be it NO!! Besides the food being horrible, I had rack off ribs as for as hungry as I was I couldn't choke down them tough ribs down. When she returned with our receipt by luck cause we just wanted to get out of there noticed the receipt was for the whole meal not just our drinks. After looking at my bank account online I was charged for both the drinks plus tip and the meal separately. Wow!! The only positive thing I can say about the whole stay was the experience we had in their bar and the food and beverage manger who I spoke to two days later and knew nothing about the situation who the GM said she would speak to in the morning... Who btw was quite rude and no help as well. I would ADVOID THIS HOTEL at all costs... The Hotel was old and run down besides the pool the place had a fowl smell to it.

trip to farmington

i got to the airport to checked into american airlines and they had me take a later flight at a later time. then charge me an extra fee to get onto my flight into farmington. i called red loin and they made my day better by holding my room till i got in later that night around 8pm. when i was really suppose to check in at 11am an they did not charge me an extra fee. i also had to stay an extra night . which was not a problem for red loin at all. i even was allowed to in the same room. the room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. breackfest was really good in the morning an will defenly stay there on my next trip.

Unbeatable location for the price

The hotel Best Western in Farmington is a good hotel, however, we were so disappointed that there pool was shutdown our entire stay. We were visiting grandkids and they were so disappointed that they couldn't swim.

Not User Friendly

If you are looking for a handicapped accessible non-smoking hotel, this is not the place for you. The only non-smoking rooms are at the far end of the facility, furthest away from the elevators. For my wife with her walker, it was a major task to get to the elevators. I would not recommend this hotel unless you smoke and have a good set of legs.

Best Western

The front desk area of the hotel is very clean and nice. When we arrived in our room we found the conditions to be less than desireable. There was mold in the shower drain, the heater made an awful screeching noise the entire time it was running, there was a funky smell throughout the hotel, there was body hair in the sheets, and the box spring looked like it had water damage (large brown spots). After 5 minutes in the room we immediately checked out. The price was comparable to other hotels in the area that had much better appearance and appeal. I would think for the conditions encountered it should have been advertised at a significantly reduced rate. We have stayed there before and were surprised and disappointed.

not as nice as expected

We stayed here before and it was wonderful, clean, beautiful. This time the hotel is unkept, staff were nice but unresposive to the leak. Did not even offer us to change rooms, we were so tired, we didn't fight.
