Super 8 Bernalillo

good hotel for traveling and staying just one night. Nothing is special, but but good value for price.

I think the same alarm clock that was not working three years ago in the same room was still the one not working this time. They replaced with new the next morning. I can't complain really. It's a budget hotel with nothing to offer and I only need a bed. If that is all you require it is a place to sleep. They do vacuum the carpets because a sure sign is the one inch line of dirt and dust along all walls and furnishings the vac never reached since the place opened.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was far more comfortable than I would have expected, but the hall smelled of smoke and the bathroom was small. It served the purpose, namely giving me a place to sleep and was easy to get to and from.

Good location off of Rte 25. Convenient. Rooms are plain and ordinary. Room lacks a good sitting chair. Bathroom was small but OK. But for the price it worked fine.

We were tired when we arrived and had no problems parking and checking in. This was a big plus as we had to be at an early meeting the next day. We were even provided with a tasty breakfast before we left. It was an enjoyable experience.

The rooom was okay, nothing fantastic. The bathroom was definitely too cramped for more than one person at a time. I really like this (and other) tub/shower combinations that have curved shower curtan rod that gives extra room when showering. The sink and mirror in the room outside the bathroom made sharing the room a little easier. Nearby Denny's and other family restaurants and convenience stores made it easy to grab a quick, inexpensive meals and snacks.

Perhaps stay on the 2nd floor as the 1st floor rooms were very noisy - could hear footsteps day and night. The continental breakfast was not very impressive (100% starches and very little to choose from even early in the am). We skipped it on the 2nd day and walked to Denny's across the street instead.

Great location for what we needed for the weekend

We arrived late in the evening, was greeted by a very friendly clerk who gave us fast service. Was wonderful to explain there was hot coffee or juice if I wanted some, also told me a good place to park that was give me easier access to my room. Also explained about the continental breakfast serviced in the morning. The room was clean and very comfortable and check out was fast. It was very close to restaurants, gas and easy on and off to freeway. Very pleased and would stay again and tell friends and family.

I like the fact that it was fairly easy to find the hotel, I like how it was close to other restaurants and businesses. I didn't like the AC in the room but I did think that it was great for the price that I paid. I was disappointed that there wasn't any iron and iron board. Other than that, I found that it was peaceful and the beds were comfortable.
