Downtown Albuquerque hotel offers a restful sleep with specialty beds

OK at best
Staff, shuttle service & internet access all great. Room is in need of overhaul, all looking very worn, though bed was comfy. Heater was really noisy and outdoor access not good, didn't feel safe. Location is bad for outdoor access as DT Albuquerque did not instill a feeling of safety. Overall the hotel was ok...but the location was awful.

Staff forgot to mention the breakfast avail, which was too bad for me since the room was well-equipped w a variety of food/bevg stations, sunny & overlooking the nice (but small) outdoor pool area. Common areas, outdoor hallways & bldg exterior a bit rundown, but my rm had a comfy bed/pillows, a fridge/microwave, a flatscrn tv, and an electric fireplace.

Nice wknd farmer's mkt across the street summer thru early fall -- good bkfst, produce, roasted/dried chilis & a big variety of booths overall.

We were very impressed with everything-staff, rooms,Temper Pedic mattresses--wonderful! We especially appreciated the easy shuttle to and from our hotel to our convention and to Old Town. Like the secure parking. Will always stay here when in town.

Great Italian cafe across the street! Capo! Church Cafe in Old Town was excellent too.

Decent value
Pros: Very comfortable bed (tempurpedic), 42" flat screen with DirecTV HD, Feaux fireplace/space heater was a fantastic touch! Complementary continental breakfast, free shuttle to Old Town was very convenient. Cons: Door opened to outdoor walkway, window faced same walkway, so had to keep curtains drawn for privacy (no partially opaque sheer), room had no lounge couch/chair, bathroom was cramped, sheets/bedding was torn in several places.

Fantastic Stay !
We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! The new Temperpedic beds were great. I loved all the little things they do here from the fireplace in the room to leaving us a toothbrush,shaving cream, shampoo,cream rinse etc. each day. The room had a fridge & microwave and lots of space.The front desk people always went above and beyond to help me even helped print my boarding pass for me! I will be staying here again next year! Oh I almost forgot loved the free shuttle to Old Town fast and very nice1

Excellent, but basic
Very similar to Motel 6. You're not getting anything fancy, but it was clean, had a great breakfast, and an excellent location close to everything. Other reviews are correct, there are bars/nightclubs very close, which does lead to some noise, but it's not unmanageable by any means. If you can, try to get a room on the east side of the building, which faces away from downtown, and you won't get any noise.

previous reviews i read had me partially hesitant, however after the quality of the room im glad i didnt turn elswhere. direct tv quality was weak though. good stuff!

2011 Hot Air Balloon Fiests
Overall great for the price. Very limited parking though. Hotel was always clean, great internet access and accommodating staff. Good value.
