Fun times

All the staff were extremely pleasant. From the front desk to the bartenders, to the Chef. Very comfortable, cozy atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Nativo Lodge.

I paid through a travel service but got charged again.

I am disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The carpet is needing re done all over and has lumps and stretched out sections you can trip over. They do not do your room each day even though they say they will very nicely. I waited 1 and a half hours to force them to get it done. I needed toilet paper, towels and a vacuum especially but they did not do it even though they said they would so I went back and told them I have been waiting for this and they finally did it. I shouldn't have had to go through that. Today I am STILL trying to get a refund from them after they charged me on top of me paying in full with a service a month prior. I used a charge card and now they are fighting the battle for me and Im sure I will receive my refund. I wasn't counting on this going through to my checking and it created a bit of a problem there as it was quite a bit of money that they sent through. Oh and when you try to talk with them via phone from home to correct a problem expect at least a 30 minute wait to be told the person isn't available that I need to talk to. Thats what they told me upon check out as well when I told them I paid through a service. They said that they would definitely know this and I wouldn't be charged....don't believe it!!!!

Son's Wedding

The only problem we had was with our keys to the room. We had to get new keys twice which my husband and I didn't like. The hot tub didn't work while we were there also.

Just OK...

We booked a last minute stay & everything was just OK. They didn't have any Luggage carts to assist in carrying our items to our room; since we arrived after dark, that wss a nightmare. The shower was almost impossible to turn on, but we finally got it. The next morning while waiting for Hubby to bring the car around, the Housekeeper was sweeping the floor & pushing dust directly @ me! The Lobby/Bar area looked nice. Would we stay here again? Probably not.

Nativo Hotel - no shower water

Hotel lobby is very nice, but the room had some problems: 1) Shower water would not turn on! 2) A/C unit only partially worked - room too hot! 3) Non-smoking room stunk like cigarettes! 4) Room had the old style CRT TV not an LCD panel display.

Great Place!

Stayed at the Nativo Lodge in May and loved it! The place was very nicely decorated in native styles, colors, and layout. It provided a very clean place to sleep. The lobby bar was the perfect place to re-hydrate after a long day in the dry Albuquerque weather. The bartender was super cool and enjoyed watching some NBA on the flat screen. My only complaint about the Nativo Lodge was the jacuzzi. I can't call it a hot tub because it was lukewarm. Other than that, I would recommend that travelers stay at the Nativo Lodge.

Distinctive features

The hotel is distinctive because of the Native American motif and decorations. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I only had breakfast, but it was a uniquely New Mexican dish. Nice interior atrium with native decorations and sociable feel. A bit close to the freeway, but I had a mountain view so it did not bother me. Good location if you have business in northeast or need to stay on north end of town closer to Santa Fe.

Watch out

I had prepaid for my room. When I arrived they asked for a credit card to "hold" for incidentals. When I checked out, there were no incidentals, but my credit card had actually been charged when I presented it. When I called them, they insisted it had not been charged. Had to call the credit card company directly to get it resolved.
