Great non-chain hotel

Stopped for 1 nt on long road trip between Salt Lake City Utah and San Antonion Texas. Was Thanksgiving and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Front desk took my expensive mtn bike and kept it behind in back office overnight. Close to freeways but not noisy, and close to restaurants etc. Parking was also very close- right off hotel front and native american artwork and decor was very refreshing and added the local color we were looking for on this short transit stay.

Traffic Noise

Was easy to find 2 complaints. Bathroom was very dark with a single light and the toilet was hidden in a corner behind the door. room was ok, traffic noise was very high too close to I-25. Staff were friendly, but should be discouraged from smoking outside the main entrance.

Pretty Good, Great for the $$

I was hoping the pool was large enough to do laps but no such luck. The street side was a bit noisy, but not too bad. I would get rooms facing away from the front if you are a light sleeper. Staff was all super friendly, restaurant was good. It gives me a sense that it is a native american hotel in waiting for a permit to add a native american casino. But there is nothing wrong with that. Rooms are big, the place is clean, they have the fundamentals down.
