Motel 6 Albuquerque North

It was overall good hotel, the room was clean, the place was easy to get to and near restaurants. The staffs are not so friendly, but was not rude either.

Staff was very friendly. A little difficult to get to.

We just needed a place to stay for the night and it was very clean and sufficient for the night. It was a very nice stay and a great price for your money

I stayed at this motel on 11/7/11 & 11/22/11. Out & back to Tucson. On the 7th, at appx. 7:00 pm, someone started walking around the room right above the room that I was in. As I was exhausted from packing a trailer & driving for 7 hours to get here, I fell asleep within minutes of the person arriving up above me. At 10:30 pm, I was awakened by tapping, hammering & more loud walking right above me. I laid awake until 11:00 pm, which was when the noise finally stopped. I fell asleep again only to be awakened again at 12:20 by the same construction going on. This time I laid awake until 2:00 am which was when the person finally stopped. When l inquired as to why construction would be going on umtil 2:00 am, and why I would be put in the room right below it, the desk clerk denied that anything of the sort was going on. I have since complained on the Motel 6 website & am awaiting a reply. The return stay was largely uneventful which is what a person would expect.

Pretty small room, but clean. Staff was friendly. Not too many amenities, charged $3 for wifi.

Hotel room was dirty upon arrival. I had to ask for clean sheets and towels. It's a good thing I always travel with lysol to spray beds and restrooms.The towels were super thin and felt like I was using sandpaper to dry. Although the night desk person was very nice and helpful about getting me fresh towels and sheets I would not recomend this hotel at the price I was charged.

We were very satisfied with our stay for the 2011 Balloon Fiesta. It was a great location and a great value for the Fiesta. The room and grounds were very clean, no carpeting in the room which I prefer for cleanliness. There isn't much in the room other than the t.v., there was no clock, no coffee pot (though there was always coffee in the lobby), no hair dryer, no refrigerator or microwave. The air conditioner was very noisy and the hotel is right on the highway so light sleepers may have a problem staying here. We paid for the Wifi and it worked flawlessly. Overall, it was a good value and I would stay there again for the Fiesta, but would probably stay somewhere else with more amenities at a different time of year.

The best deal we could find on the Int'l Balloon Fiesta weekend. Location is perfect for getting to the Balloon Fiesta Park, just 2mins drive away. Motel looks pretty new. Room was clean & front desk service was friendly & efficient. However, could really do better with new beds & pillows. But was ok for just a night.

The room was impeccably clean, smelled clean, tv worked fine. I had a room near the rear exit, however, and could hear people opening and closing that door all night. I was awakened at least 3 times, the last being 4:33 am. I was wide awake then, and got up. I'd advise to absolutely ask for a room away from the entrances. Also the showerhead was horrible. The spray came out with such force it hurt. I couldn't find a way to lessen the pressure so I stood away from the water as much as I could. The location was weird and I missed the hotel somehow on the first pass and had to go past the freeway and down and around because it was a one way road. Kind of confusing for an out-of-towner. In fact, Albuquerque's roads are weird in general.
