You get what you pay for..

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice, but the hallways had a nasty smell, the beds were a little uncomfortable for my taste, and the breakfast wasnt much of a selection.

Smelly old but nice staff

Hotel was very musty smelling.. Room was old smelled of smoke and turned our socks black in a matter of minutes. Had a free breakfast that wasn't too bad. We usually stay at Hyatts and will from now on.. All the drains were slow.. If you are used to these budget hotels then this wouldn't be a bad choice as it was quiet. If not then spend the extra $30 for a nice hotel you will thank me..

Great family getaway

My family has stayed three different times and courtesy and comfort was excellent. There is a new manager on board there that is very good. My only complaint is that we were charged a higher rate this last time for no apparent reason that I could see. We will continue to stay there to enjoy activities in Albuquerque.

A place to sleep, nothing else!!!

I was expecting a little to much from the name since I have stayed in La Quinta's before but this one did not live up to the standards that I have come to see in other La Quinta's. This facility must have been built in the early to mid 90's, u can tell cause everything seems so small, the hallway, the bathroom. The room was descent, great bed and work desk, the TV has seen better days and the image on the screen was ok when it was able to warm up after a while. Like I said before the bathroom was very small, no elbow room when you use the toilet. Air conditioner worked great, and there was a ceiling fan. No ice machine on the first floor, you have to take the elevator to the second floor. Another thing was that they allow dogs, all the time they were everywhere in the lobby, the elevator, across my room. The breakfast was ok but do plan on skiping it if you have time to eat later in the day. Safe to say that I will not be coming back to any La Quinta's in New Mexico.

Good location to go places.

This is the place I went to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Good location for food places, went to a place call Five Guys, this was a hamberger place and boy they were BIG and GOOD. The room was nice but it was jointed another room were I can hear the people talking like they were in the same room.(wrote the wrong review for the Flagstaff motel) The staff was friendly and breakfast was good.Did visit some other sites here, like Old Town Albuquerque.

Good location in Albuquerque

Not a bad hotel for the price. Good location next to interstate for easy access to most major attractions. Good Overall service. Great for short business and family trips, especially for those who are concerned more with price and value over frills and luxury. The only complaint came from 1 morning when slept in until about 9:30am. We had a note slipped under the door stating that because we still had our PRIVACY card on the front door, we would not get maid service for that day (It was only about 9:30am when the note was slipped under our door.). My wife was angry and called the office to complain. The manager apologized and sent a maid to clean the room.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Lots of restaurants, shopping, and more within a very short distance to the hotel. A large multi-screen theater is located within a few miles. A post office is less than a mile away.

No good

Hotel was annoying and nausiating. Obviously converted from smoking to non-smoking but did not put enough effort into transformation. When air came on it smelled of smoke and pee. The carpet was soiled from cigarettes dropped on carpet long ago and the sink and and tub were blemished/scarred. The kicker was when my family went to get breakfast in the morning(-not that my wife was not already disappointed in my pick). We had to leave early in morning so we could not sit and eat so we were to grab something to drink and go. Well my daughter loves OJ and was going to seek some solace in that but it was not available. They forgot. So a girl went to put it in as we were leaving. [...]
