Deficient in ways!
The Hotel is well located. We went to a graduation at Tingsley Coliseum, visited old town, Route 66 Casino, Isleta Casino and went Hot Air Ballooning which was amazing. The only down sides to our trip was a young lady named [...] at the front desk in the PM was extraordinarily rude. There is an unreasonable wait for service in the main bar when the place is half empty. Housekeeping was very sluggish.

Quick Trip to ABQ
We made a quick trip to ABQ for wedding in downtown ABQ. We stayed at the Hyatt because the reception was there. Nice reception. [...]The hotel would be overpriced if we'd had to pay the wedding guest rate. FYI-self-park is $12/night, valet is $16.

Great stay for a conference
I was at a business conference that was hosted in the Hyatt Hotel. The room was comfortable, the bed was just right with a selection of different pillows. The perks of free wireless internet and free breakfasts at McGrath's was a nice touch. The wait staff were helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if visiting Albuquerque on vacation.

Disappointing for a Hyatt...
This Hyatt Regency didn't live up to my expectations. The hotel was older and needs to be updated. The carpeting in the halls looked dirty but the room wasn't that bad. The worst part of the hotel was McGrath's Restaurant. The service and food were abysmal at best. I ordered an omelet for breakfast but it was made with Egg Beaters and I couldn't get a refill on my drink. The only reason I stayed at this hotel was because it was adjacent to the Convention Center and the other two hotels where my friends stayed were full. At least the front desk staff and bell boys were really friendy.

Hyatt hotel
We stayed at this hotel because it was only about a block from the convention center and since we were going to a conference at the convention center the location was perfect. The hotel is very attractive. the rooms well arranged and spotless. The only negative is that the lighting is the room could be better.

Way, way, better than other options
If you are a person traveling alone, be sure to upgrade to the business package. For me, it was the same price as the regular one but, with it, you got an awesome breakfast in the morning, free internet, a big bottle of water in your room, the new york times, and free shirt ironing service. I had a friend staying at a competing hotel and this was a million times better. Seriously.

Nice hotel
This stay was part of a fly/hotel package and included three individual breakfasts. Parking was $16 per day, but they picked up that charge at checkout for our 3 day stay, so we paid nothing for parking. The breakfast buffet coupons were only for one person each day...but it was a very upscale spread. As only one of us is a "morning person," that suited us fine.
