nice stay

We made planned a stop here on our way through. The price for the place we stayed the last time we were in town was steep, so I looked around and found a good deal here. We were pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure how long it's been here, but the hotel seemed very new. The staff was probably the most friendly and helpful of the 5 hotels we stayed at in the last 2 weeks. The room was nice and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. The bathroom was large and well appointed. There was also a nice view of Albuquerque and Sandia Peak. We didn't have a chance to use the workout room or the pool, but both looked nice as well. The breakfast area was roomy and they had a large selection of very good food to fuel the beginning of our next day. The next time we come through, this will probably be where we stay.

Great for a stopover

This is your basic upper-end HIE, just off of I40, making it very convenient for those traveling through Albuquerque. The manager was on hand at the free breakfast, chatting with guests, offering suggestions, etc., a rare occurrence in my experience. My room had a brand-new perk for me to trial and report on: A solid door on a roller had been installed between the main bedroom area and the hallway/bathroom area. This door greatly reduce the noise (I was near the elevators & vending/ice machines) and light. I only wish the had smaller ones for the windows, it worked great!

Hotel charged me TWICE!!!

My reservation was made and I had paid for my room at upon reservation online. However, I've received a charged from the hotel again upon checked out. I've called the hotel on the same day and Penny from the hotel said that it was a mistake and will process the refund. After 5 business days, the charge is still not reversed. I have to call customer service to help me to sort out the double charge. Now I have to monitor my credit card statement for next few business days to ensure the charge is refunded. This is only my first stop of my one month vacation made to online. Instead of focusing on relaxation and enjoying my vacation, I have to spend my first two monitoring charges in my credit card!!!

Get away trip

This is probably the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. The staff are all very friendly and helpful (I mean ALL of them!). The breakfast was fully stocked every morning with plenty of choices. When I booked the hotel I thought it was closer to the Old Town (walking distance) but it's really not even though it's only a few minutes easy route to Old Town. Penny gave us a very good dinner recommendation. It seems that the staff are all very familiar with the area and events in town. The room was clean and the TV, microwave, and refrigerator all worked fine and were in good shape. There are only 2 things I would do differently if visiting again. First, I would not pay extra for the mountain view. The mountain view is right there outside of the door all the time and even visible from the Great Room. Second, I would request a room on the top floor because it seems there was a kid with a lot of energy above us. Overall, a great place to stay!

One Night Stop Over

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We booked on line for a two queen bed suite, but the room looked nothing like the picture and was more crowded than we expected. The pool and hot tub were excellent!

Excellent staff and clean, comfortable hotel!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary with two days in Albuquerque. This hotel was delightful. It was very clean, the room/bed were extremely comfortable, the pool and spa were the perfect temperature and the staff was wonderful. One lovely lady - wish I could recognize her personally here - gave us an anniversary card! The ONLY drawback was that there was a little traffic noise. We live in a very rural area, so we are probably more sensitive to this than most. You cannot hear I-40 - only the occasional vehicle on 12th St. This is a great hotel for the price!

Go across the street to the Pueblo Cultural Center and eat the sampler plate for two at their restaurant for a great, authentic New Mexico lunch or dinner. Delicious! Cultural center is great too!

Such Fun!

Had a wonderful vacation made better by the staff and excellent services at this hotel. The rooms were wonderful with a helpful staff for finding my way around during my first visit to New Mexico. I will stay with them again during my next visit. A++
