Helpful and courteous staff

Excellent continental breakfast, good location to buses around corner and across the street to take you most anywhere. Good restaurants down the street within a couple blocks. Great place to stay if you ride Amtrak and don't have a car while visiting.

OK Accommodations

Good location close to downtown Abq; I like the pillows, nice and soft; Free Continental breakfast was lacking -juice machine broken, mainly cereal or toast, not much selection; I paid for two queen beds but we got two full beds, I wanted to complain and get another room, but husband was too tired to move rooms. Overall just satisfactory.

Good Location and Value

Two blocks south of the Route 50 Bus to/from the Airport - get off at Lovelace Hospital. 15 minute walk to either downtown, or Univ of New Mexico. Nearby neighborhoods are residential. Good, cheap bus service - the local Route 66 stops next to the motel, the express ABQ Ride Green and Red lines stop on the other side of the I-25 freeway outside Presbyterian Hospital.

Cheap Clean and Quiet Near Downtown

Stayed there for a business trip. Wasn't anything to fancy but it was cheap and clean. Nothing to complain about when you'r just sleeping between meetings.

Easy access

The downtown EconoLodge is centrally located in Albuquerque. The on-ramp to I-25 is at the intersection to head north or south. I-40 is just a bit north. The room is large with a desk, king sized bed, TV and bureau space. The alcove for luggage and hanging clothes is appropriately situated. The bathroom is roomy complete with a full-sized tub. I enjoyed my stay!

Very nice

The night desk clerk was too nice for words. He waited for us for an hour past the time the lobby closed because I had made a reservation. He was too nice for doing that and I was very happy with the hotel staff in general.
