A great place in a great town
We've been traveling to Albuquerque from New York City. I gotta tell you that was worth it! Great location, ala Wild West room decor and nice hotel staff will make you trip to Albuquerque unforgettable. Just a few minutes from Old Town and great Mexican cuisine. And even there is a very affordable liqueur store (just across bridge over Rio Grande) where you can buy a bottle of tequila plus big box of margarita mix - it will be enough for 2-3 days. I'm gonna visit Albuquerque certainly next year!!! Great great city! People are very open and honest.

ABQ (Albuquerque)
FROM CHECK IN TO CHECK OUT THE STAFF AND FACILITIES OF THE HOTEL WERE GREAT. THE HOTEL RESTAURANT SEEMED A BIT HIGHT PRICED FOR THE QUALITY OF FOOD AND SERVICE PROVIDED. DUE TO THE HEAVY TRAFFIC IN ABQ GETTING INTO AND ESPECIALLY OUT OF THE PARKING LOT WAS DIFFICULT. I HAD PURCHASED A PACKAGE DEAL FOR HOTEL AND AUTOMOBILE AND DID NOT REALIZE THAT THE TWO WERE MILES APART, MOSTLY BECAUSE I ARRIVED AT ABQ ON AMTRAK (AMTRAK HAS NO SERVICES CONNECTED WITH THE HOTEL OR CAR RENTAL) AND HAD TO FIND A TAXI TO GET TO BUDGET AUTO AT THE AIRPORT. I GUESS I HAD EXPECTED THE HOTEL AND RENTAL CAR TO COME TOGETHER AS ADVERTISED, FOOLISH ME. I WILL PLAN MY TRIPS MORE CAREFULLY IN THE FUTURE. THE PIX YOU SHOW OF THE HOTEL IS VERY MISLEADING. I THOUGHT IT TO BE IN A VERY ACCESABLE LOCATION.

Nice place
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and nice bedding. The restaurant was great, as everybody mentioned, especially its cooking. But it is clearly under staffed in the morning so it is a little bit too slow. But, there is no complimentary breakfast as advertised by Orbits.com. Don't be lured by that.

Great location! And don't be lured in by "free" breakfasts elsewhere
After a long day's drive, I was so happy to see the hotel right next to the highway exit, so I didn't have to search in the dark in a strange land to find it! No free breakfast, but the last hotel I stayed at with a "free" breakfast had pretty pathetic fare to choose from. The 20% discount at Best Western's on-site restaurant provided me with a good hot meal before I hit the road, at a very reasonable price, and with great service.

Great place to stay
Location was perfect, right on I-40 and only three blocks from the Old Town historic district. Staff was very helpful with directions to local places and getting to old town. Excellent shuttle service to train station and we took the rail runner to Santa Fe for a day. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, equipped with most amenities. We enjoyed the 4 night stay very much and highly recommend it.

Great for travelers
Passing through, for one night only. Very pleased with location of this hotel. Literally right off the freeway, and only blocks from Old Town Albuquerque. Hotel appearance was good, Room was clean and nicely appointed. Staff was competent. No complimentary breakfast, but dining was literally off to the side in the lobby. Breakfast was good, could have used more waitstaff.

This was my 3rd visit...
This was my 3rd time at this hotel. The location is great close to Old Tow Abq.Its a very basic hotel and in the past fine for business or vacation. This time the hotel was full of dogs. This new trend in "pet friendly hotels" is getting a little out of control. The noise and lingering pet smells is becoming a problem for me.I love dogs and have 2 myself but I do not travel with them.
