Passable Comfort

Conveniently located to the freeway and old town ABQ. $5 breakfast voucher given daily. Beds were comfortable and room clean. No desk in the room. Internet connection did not permit adult sites. It felt like a really nice Motel 6.

Relaxing atmosphere

Stayed at hotel nine days, staff very accomodating. Provided shuttle to car rental. Best hot tub ever, bar hours need to be extended. Very quiet and comfortable. Many entrances depending where you are coming from in parking lot, lots of parking. Staff knows the area and able to answer questions. I would recommend to anyone visiting. Old Town is walking distance.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Old town is nice but everything closes too early. All of people milling around after 6PM looking for somewhere to eat and shop. They need to extend hours to at least 9 PM. Overall, great experience. and I am going back.

Good hotel, but watch out for the traffic

The Best Western Rio Grande hotel is well kept, the front desk service is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is good. The pool is clean. Having a yellow pages in the room helps - not all hotels have them. The only drawback was the location - next to a very busy street. To go north (by crossing the street) during rush hour is nearly impossible. If travelling north, crossing the street to get into the hotel is a rather dangerous maneuver.

Great price for the room comfort level

This hotel was our stop on the way to spring training, and I couldn't be happier. Nice clean quiet room with a good sized tv and MLB network. The boys were able to watch baseball the entire stay and that made for happy parents. The beds were very comfortable, and the noise level coming from the street was not too bad. If we ever get the opportunity to come back to Albuquerque again, we will be sure to stay there again.

Good and Bad

Staff was courteous, hotel and room were clean, and enjoyed the western motif. The heating didn't stay at a constant temperature; either it was on or off. The meal coupon system was not adequately explained; ended up adding almost $15 expense to the stay. The coffee maker didn't work.
